Nagsalita na ang Pinoy Big Brother alumnus at engineer na si Slater Young hinggil sa kritisismong natatanggap niya kaugnay ng real-estate project na The Rise at Monterrazas sa Cebu City.
Marami ang namangha sa disenyo ng proyektong inspired sa Banaue Rice Terraces, pero marami ring netizens ang nabahala sa kalidad ng istruktura pati na ang epekto nito sa kalikasan at mga mamamayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng video sa Instagram Stories, sinagot ni Slater ang mga batikos na ipinupukol sa kanya at sa kanilang proyekto.
Ayon kay Slater, ang team na gagawa sa proyekto ay binubuo ng magagaling na architectures, engineers, at sustainability experts kaya nakakasiguro umano silang wala itong masamang epekto sa kalikasan at mga mamamayan.
Aniya, “I spent the last few days going over your comments about The Rise at Monterrazas.
"We’ve been working on this project for a long, long time.
“Our team is composed of dedicated architects, a lot of engineers, and sustainability experts.
"We went through about 300 revisions just to make sure that we build this according to the best practice as possible.”
Aware din daw sila sa hinaing at komento ng publiko kaya patuloy silang makikipag-ugnayan sa expert groups at environmental advocates para sa ikagaganda pa ng The Rise at Monterrazas.

Saad ni Slater, “When we finally posted The Rise at Monterrazas, the response was honestly overwhelming.
"I appreciate everyone who took time to comment, narinig namin lahat ng mga concerns niyo.
"We continue to engage even more expert groups and environmental advocates to look over our plan.
"The goal here is to listen, I will post updates as we go and to serve full transparency with this project.”
