Kapamilya and Kapuso unite!
Sa isang pambihirang pagkakataon, muling ipinakita ng dating rival networks na ABS-CBN at GMA-7 na tapos na ang "network war" sa pagitan nila.
Ngayong Huwebes, September 28, 2023, bumisita at nakisaya ang GMA-7 bosses, sa pangunguna ni Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, sa opening ng Kapamilya noontime show na It's Showtime.
Narooon din sina Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo, Sparkle Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia, Janna Revilla, at Carmina Cruz.
Present din sa show ang ABS-CBN executives na sina COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes at Head of Non-Scripted Format Lui Andrada.
Masayang sinalubong at ipinakilala ng mga host na sina Kim Chiu, Amy Perez, Karylle, Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Julueta, Ion Perez, Jacky Gonzaga, at Cianne Dominguez ang kanilang VIP guests.
Saad ni Amy, “Sobrang espesyal ng araw na ito dahil kasama natin si Tita Cory and Ms. Annette, and of course, the beautiful ladies of GMA-7."
Dugtong naman ni Kim, “Grabe, iba ang pagbati natin sa madlang people, very special!”
Hindi rin pinalampas ng mga host ng It’s Showtime na pabatiin sina Atty. Annette at Cory Vidanes ng kanilang iconic greeting na “What’s Up, Madlang People!”
Pinabati rin sila ng “What’s Up, Madlang Kapuso!” bilang pagpupugay sa Kapuso viewers.
Ito ang kauna-unahang beses na dumalaw si Atty. Annette at iba pang GMA-7 executives sa studio ng It’s Showtime mula nang umere ang programa sa GTV, ang subsidiary channel ng GMA Network noong July 1, 2023.

Ikinatuwa naman ng solid fans ng It’s Showtime ang pagpapakita ng suporta GMA-7 executives sa gitna ng isyung pinagdaraanan ngayon ng Kapamilya noontime show.
Ngayong araw ay inilabas ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang resolusyon hinggil sa pagbasura nila sa motion for reconsideration na inihain ng It’s Showtime.
Ito ay kaugnay ng 12-day suspension na ipinataw ng MTRCB sa Kapamilya noontime show.
Mababasa sa inilabas nilang resolusyon: “The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) released a resolution dated 28 September 2023, denying the Motion for Reconsideration (MR) filed by GMA Network, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation.
"Said MRs sought relief from the Board’s ruling dated August 17, 2023, regarding the July 25, 2023 episode of the live noontime television program “It’s Showtime!”
"Specifically, during the show’s “Isip Bata” segment, in which hosts Ryan Bang, Vice Ganda and Ion Perez allegedly acted indecently or inappropriately in the presence of children, which is alleged to have violated Section 3 (c) of Presidential Decree No. 1986 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
"In view of which, the Board’s decision dated 17 August 2023 is affirmed."
