GMA-7's Prime Time Queen Marian Rivera is surprised that people still dance to her song "Sabay Sabay Tayo," especially on TikTok.
The song came out around February 2009, and Marian is thrilled to witness her fans groove to it almost 15 years after its debut.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other press members interviewed Marian about her song's resurgence on TikTok before her surprise mob dance for Home Credit on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Market! Market! in Taguig City.
"Nakakatuwa kasi kahit kami ni Tita Geleen nag-uusap kami at parang sabi niya, 'Yan, salamat, ginamit mo ulit yung 'Sabay Sabay Tayo.' At talagang sabi ko, 'Oo naman!'
Geleen Eugenio is the choreographer behind Marian's viral dance hit.
The song's comeback started when Marian fulfilled her fans' request for her to dance to it on TikTok.

And, of course, their typical bonding activity during downtime involves enjoying good food.
"Oo, hindi puwedeng wala kaming pagkain kasi alam mo yun, simula umaga, hanggang gabi, hanggang umaga... So, sabi ko talaga kailangan, busog tayo dito."
