Nagkausap kamakailan sa isang event sina Kelley Day at Carla Abellana.
Matatandaan na noong 2022, nadawit ang pangalan ni Kelley sa isyung hiwalayan nina Carla at Tom Rodriguez.
Kuwento ni Kelley sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “I met Carla at an event a few months ago.
"I was hosting a pageant and siya yung isang judge.
"So, we made like salubong in the doorway, and then I said, ‘Hi Ate Carla! I just wanna let you know that I didn’t have anything with Tom.'
“And she just apologized na I got involved in terms of like the rumors, but she knows na I didn’t have any part to it.”
Nitong Enero 2024 naganap ang pagtatagpo nina Kelley at Carla, at iyon ang pinakaunang beses nilang nagkita matapos pumutok ang eskandalo.
Nagbeso pa sila ni Carla noong nagkita sila.
Dagdag ni Kelley, “Coz I’m not really in showbiz din in the past couple of years. So for me, I just let it go kasi I aired my side and I’m not a pa-drama person.”
Mabuti naman at okay naman sila ni Carla.
Lahad niya, “Yeah! She was like, apparently yung makeup artist niya for that event asked her, ’Uy si Kelley yung host. Okay lang ba sa iyo?’
“And then she was like, ‘Yeah, it’s fine.'
“Ako, they asked me, 'Si Carla isang judge. Okay lang sa iyo?’
“I said, ‘I would like to talk to her!’
"'Coz I also want to clarify kung may ginawa akong mali, maybe in my taping with Tom, maybe I said something or maybe, I dunno if there’s something that I did.
“Then I should know so that I can act upon it.”
Nagkatrabaho sina Tom at Kelley sa The World Between Us na umere sa GMA-7 noong July 2021-January 2022. Kasama nila sa serye sina Alden Richards at Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
KELLEY RECALLS THIRD-PARTY ISSUE
Hanggang ngayon ay walang ideya si Kelley kung bakit sila na-link ni Tom.
Aniya, “Most of my scenes kasi kasama ko si Alden, not really Tom.
"In the story, I’m not really involved with Tom’s character. We had maybe like three or four scenes together.
"So most of the time hindi kami nagkita or anything, because siyempre that was lock-in taping. So we’re like pag wala kang eksena, dapat nasa room ka lang.
“So you don’t make tambay or anything and mahigpit yung lock-in namin kasi it was in Metro Manila, sa hotel.”
Nag-reach out naman daw si Tom kay Kelley dahil sa isyu.
Pakli niya, “He did reach out to me and I also asked him like, ‘Did I do something wrong?’
“He said, ‘Nothing, it’s got nothing to do with you.’
“And they said, ‘Sorry we can’t like really talk… we can’t defend you yet pa.’
“Parang ganun, kaya no one was able to have my back that time.
"And the PA of Tom also reached out to me to confirm ‘cause I asked, ‘Did I do something?’
“I was checking kasi… any messages that I sent to Tom, wala, there was nothing there, yeah there’s nothing, ‘Bakit ako?’
“Sabi niya, ‘It’s not you, don’t worry.’”

KELLEY'S IDEAL MAN
May non-showbiz boyfriend si Kelley mula pa noong na-link sila ni Tom.
Halimbawang wala siyang karelasyon at single din si Tom, papasa ba siya kay Kelley kung sakaling niligawan siya nito?
Mabilis niyang sagot, “I don’t think so. Hindi kami nag-click in that sense during our taping.
"So, I mean we’re okay. But for me, I guess iba yung type ko.
“He’s not really my type. Okay si Tom, I’ll say like iyon matangkad siya, he’s a good looking guy.
"But my type is different, e. It’s just really my personal type.”
Ano ba ang type ni Kelley?
“Usually shorter,” at natawa si Kelley.
“He’s shorter than Tom but he’s taller than me. But if I wear heels magka-height kami,” pagtukoy ni Kelley sa boyfriend niya.
“He’s also good looking,” dagdag pa ni Kelley tungkol sa kanyang boyfriend.
Nagmomodelo na raw si Kelley mula noong siya ay six years old, at sanay na siyang makasalamuha ang mga male models na mala-Brad Pitt ang dating, na hindi type ni Kelley.
“Siguro na-expose ako sa mga ganyang looks that is not my type in terms of a relationship or something, so usually I go for like the cute boy, not the hot boys.
“That’s why I’m not saying na hindi good looking si Tom, but sa personal type ko, I go for the cuter-looking guys.”
“I never even had a crush on Tom, sorry,” ang paghingi pa ng paumanhin ni Kelley.
“I know he's good looking, but I never had a crush on him.”
KELLEY ON WORKING WITH TOM OR CARLA
Kung may project na iaalok sa kanya na kasama si Tom ay papayag daw si Kelley.
Diin niya, “For me, it’s no problem, if it’s a good work opportunity.
“For me it’s about the project. The co-actors, you need to find a way to work with them.
"It’s not that you should be picky about yung co-actors mo, more so yung projects, so doon ako mas picky.”
Halimbawang sabay na may offer sa kanya: proyekto kasama si Tom o proyekto kasama si Carla.
Alin ang tatanggapin niya?
Natawa muna si Kelley bago sinabing, “I would choose si Ms. Carla!
"Wala, so I can get close with her sana and maybe really fix like… I know that she knows na wala akong ginawa.
“But at least we could have the opportunity to get along kasi in-invite niya ako sa wedding nila.
“She never met me so it was actually si Tom who asked Carla or they agreed na lahat ng co-actors niya sa The World Between Us can attend."

“Pero sa wedding we didn’t have time to really meet kasi she’s so busy. I never really like get to know her.
“At least, kay Tom naman, I got to know him during our tapings. I got to bond with him and the other co-actors. But I never got the chance to know Carla.
“So siguro I would choose Carla."
