Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo seems to be enjoying his time on TikTok, as seen in the videos he has shared over the past few months.

So it’s no surprise that he chose to mark his latest milestone on the popular social media platform in style.

Staying true to his playful side, Dennis delighted fans with a tongue-in-cheek video that showcased his signature humor—an endearing contrast to his reputation as one of the country’s most accomplished actors.

In the video, Dennis is seen holding the Best Actor trophy he won at the recently concluded Gabi ng Parangal of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The awarding ceremony took place on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Solaire Resort in Parañaque.

Dennis won the Best Actor award for his portrayal in the drama film Green Bones, directed by Zig Dulay and produced by GMA Pictures.

“Victory Dance as a Jejeboy. Let’s win, guys!” Dennis captioned the post.

@dennistrilloph Victory Dance as a Jejeboy panalo tayo guys!??????????????????? #greenbonesmovie #mmff2024 #fyp #foryoupage #goodvibes ? original sound - Mr. Coco Martin

"Jejeboy" is derived from the term "jejemon," which refers to a new generation of hipsters in Philippine society who have created their own language, subculture, and fashion trends.

The term has also become a joke of sorts, and even a derogatory label for some, with people identified as "jejemons" often being regarded as "baduy" or "corny" or associated with the lower-income class.

GIVING CREDIT TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE FILM

Another video posted by Dennis on TikTok carries a more serious tone, as he expresses his gratitude to everyone who helped make Green Bones possible and a success.

Dennis thanked his manager and acknowledged the other Best Actor nominees, including Aga Muhlach, Piolo Pascual, and Vic Sotto, referring to them as individuals who paved the way for him in the industry.

"Maraming salamat sa inspirasyon na binigay ninyo sa akin," enthused Dennis.

Dennis likewise gave props to the production people who worked behind the camera.

#fyp #foryoupage #goodvibes @Rebecca Aguila @Katrina Aguila @Sir Jan ? Green Bones clinched six awards during the Gabi ng Parangal, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Supporting Actor for Ruru Madrid.
