Isang madamdaming farewell message ang ibinahagi ng Kapamilya actress na si Ara Davao sa Instagram ngayong Huwebes, May 8, 2025, para sa namayapang amang si Ricky Davao.
Si Ara ang bunso sa tatlong anak ni Ricky sa asawa nitong si Jackie Lou Blanco. Ang dalawa pa ay sina Kenneth at Rikki Mae.
Sa kanyang post, ipinakita ni Ara ang ilang larawan na kuha sa burol ng ama mula May 2 hanggang May 7, sa Heritage Park, Taguig City.
Gayundin ang urn na pinaglagakan ng cremated remains ng ama.
Ayon kay Ara, mahirap pa ring paniwalaang wala na ang kanyang ama.
Pero nakakagaan daw sa kalooban na isiping hindi na ito nakakaramdam ng sakit.
Mensahe niya (published as is): "Pa, it’s still so hard to believe that you’re gone.
"Many days will feel empty without you, but I find comfort in knowing you’re now free from pain and suffering.
"I know it won’t be easy, but I’ll keep trying to live my best life everyday—because that’s what you would’ve wanted."
Mami-miss daw ni Ara ang ama at umaasa siyang babantayan siya nito palagi.
Dagdag niya: "It’s been a week since you left us.. and a lifetime still to go.
"I’ll miss you everyday. Rest well and watch over me. Love you, Pa."

Noong May 2, 2025, inilabas ni Ara sa pamamagitan ng social media ang opisyal na pahayag ng pamilya ukol sa pagpanaw ng actor-director.
Nakasaad dito: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Ricky Davao.
"He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children and loved ones, after bravely facing complications related to cancer.
"For more than four decades, he dedicated his life to the craft of acting and directing. His remarkable body of work and award-winning performances have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire.
"Most of all he was a loving father, brother, son, and friend."
