Umani ng samu't saring reaksiyon ang opinyon ng aktor na si Janus del Prado tungkol sa tinawag niyang "entitlement" ni Awra Briguela para sa kanyang gender alignment.
Ayon kay Janus, dahil sa kagustuhan ni Awra na ipilit sa ibang tao ang pronoun na napili niya para sa sarili, "her," nasasaktan na nito ang buong LGBTQIA+ community.
Bahagi ng post ni Janus noong July 18, 2025: "Awra. You are doing too much to the point that you are hurting the gay community.
"People are starting to turn against the entire gay community because of this kind of entitlement. Nadadamay sila sa bashing.
"Not to mention overshadowing the identity and attention from biological women, their struggles and their place in society. Stop acting like you are being oppressed because you are not."

JANUS ANSWERS NETIZENS WHO DISAGREE WITH HIS OPINION
Sa comments section ng kanyang post, kanya-kanyang bigay ng opinyon ang ilang netizens.
May mga kumampi kay Janus at meron ding sumalungat sa kanya.
Sabi ng isang netizen, ang content creator na si Jack Argota ang nagsimula ng isyu nang i-misgender niya si Awra sa pagtawag niya ritong "bro" imbes na "her."
Ayon dito, published as is: "Sorry Kuya Janus I have to disagree.
"Si sir Jack naman nagsimula e, it was a harmless, feel good post about Awra's graduation.
"Sir Jack made a very malicous and intentional disrespect noong shinare niya 'yung post.
"Gets naman if hindi accepted ng lahat 'yung pronouns na ginagamit niya. But to actually go out of your way and share that post is a disrespect."
Sagot ni Janus, nirespeto niya ang opinyon ng netizen.
Ang punto lamang daw ng aktor ay ang tila pagpapataw ng "neo pronouns" sa labas ng LGBT community.
Hindi raw ito katanggap-tanggap, ayon kay Janus.
Ang "neo pronouns" ay ang mga kapalit na tawag sa bisexuals or gays na "he," "she," at "they" sa "xe/xem/xyr," "ze/hir/hirs," at "ey/em/eir."
Saad ni Janus, "You don’t have to say sorry, that is your opinion. At least you stated it respectfully. But I wasn’t talking about what sir jack did.
"I was talking about the imposition of neo pronouns outside the trans community. But i guess I didn’t explain myself well. Coz even you misunderstood it.
"To each his own na lang talaga. You guys do you, and we do us. We just have to respect each other’s beliefs and boundaries."
Tinawag namang "OA" ng isang netizen si Janus.
Sabi nito: "Ang OA mo naman sa hurting the community nagsabi lang naman yung tao na SHE FINDS IT DISRESPECTING kapag naminisgender siya. YUN LANG TOO MUCH NA SA IYO? ganyan ata kapag matanda na sensitive maxadow."
Maiksing sagot ni Janus, "entitled ka lang."

Sabi nito: "i dont care whatever pronoun you want to use to address me. that is reflection of your personality not mine. Just because uso ang tawaging entitled ang sino mang nanghihingi ng pagkilala ay tatawagin mo ng entitled. Obviously you are not a kind person."
Binalikan naman siya ni Janus at tinawag na "delusional."
Sabi ng aktor: "Vilifying people who disagrees with you is always your community’s go to. You’re just delusional. And you maintain that shared delusion just to belong to a group who will never be satisfied by their constant need of validation. Just because you got offended doesn’t mean you’re right and it doesn’t make you a good person either. Truth hurts."

Sagot ni Janus: "Hirap talaga pag 8080 kausap. Puro panlalait ang rebut. Point is. Wag niyo ipilit na gamitin ng lahat yung pronouns niyong wrong grammar. Kung gusto niyo gamitin yan kayo kayo na lang. Simple as that."
