Dinepensahan ng magkapatid na sina Alyana Asistio at Ynna Asistio ang kanilang ina na si Nadia Montenegro laban sa mga kritiko matapos pumutok ang alegasyong nahuli umanong humihithit ng marijuana si Nadia sa loob ng ladies' room ng Senado.
Si Nadia ay nagsilbi bilang political affairs officer ni Senator Robin Padilla.
Sa Facebook nitong nakaraang Miyerkules, August 20, 2025, iginiit ni Alyana na hindi na mabubura pa ang mga paratang na ibinabato sa ina.
Hindi na rin aniya mababawi pa ang sakit na naidulot nito sa kanilang pamilya.
Saad ni Alyana sa kanyang post: "What was done to our mom will never, ever be erased.
"The pain she went through will never be taken back.
"Everything she did was out of her willingness whether as part of her work or simply out of love.
"She gave up two years with us because of the job she was committed to. Even now, she continues to help others, because that’s who she is."
Hindi rin daw gagawa ng mga bagay na makakapanakit o magkakanulo sa iba ang ang kanyang ina dahil isa raw ito sa pinaka-loyal na tao sa mundo.
Ibinuhos din daw ng kanilang ina ang lahat ng makakaya dahil sa pagmamahal nito sa kanyang ginagawa.
"My mom poured everything into what she did. She would never HURT or BETRAY anyone, because she is one of the most loyal people in this world.
"She gave more than what was required because of how much she loved what she was doing but the truth is, she would have done it as a friend, even for free, simply because that’s her nature."
Ayon kay Alyana, naapektuhan ang kanilang pamilya sa pangyayari at nabahiran ng mantsa ang pangalan nito.
Nagdulot din daw ito ng trauma sa kanyang mga kapatid na hindi niya nanaising mangyari sa iba.
"The way this has affected our family, my mom’s name, and the trauma it brought to my siblings is something I would never wish on anyone.
"It broke us to see her doubted, accused, and hurt so easily without even being given the chance to defend herself."
Naalala rin daw ni Alyana ang pangaral ng kanyang yumaong amang si Macario "Boy" Asistio Jr.
Saad niya: "My dad always told me growing up: 'Nak, wag mong aasahan na yung kaya mong gawin para sa iba, gagawin din nila para sa’yo, kasi masasaktan ka lang.'
"But my mom? She will always be that person the one who gives, loves, and shares because that’s who she really is.
"We love our mom so deeply. She didn’t deserve any of this. She is an amazing person.
"I LOVE HER SO MUCH."
Mensahe pa niya sa mga bumabatikos sa ina: "Leave her alone. Leave our MOM ALONE.
"My family. I will forever choose us over anything."

YNNA ASISTIO says she and siblings choose to SURROUND NADIA WITH LOVE
Sa Threads naman, isang madamdaming post ang ibinahagi ni Ynna Asistio tungkol sa ina.
Kahit daw ano pang ibinabatong isyu laban dito, mas pipiliin nilang manindigan at suportahan ang ina.
Sa buhay raw kasi, ang mga totoong tao ang matitirang nakatayo para suportahan ka sa mga laban at tagumpay.
Buong post ni Ynna, "People may see our mom as an easy target but to us, she’s our greatest source of strength.
"At the end of the day, we don’t need the whole world to love our mom or to love us.
"We just need a few real ones who truly see her heart. Life isn’t about pleasing everyone, it’s about having genuine people who stand with you in both victories and battles.

NADIA RESIGNS FROM SENATOR ROBIN PADILLA'S OFFICE
Nagbitiw na sa kanyang tungkulin si Nadia noong August 18, 2025.
Nanindigan din siyang ang kanyang pagre-resign sa tungkulin ay hindi nangangahulugang pag-amin na siya ay guilty sa ibinibintang sa kanya.
Ito ay pagpapakita raw niya ng respeto sa opisina ni Padilla at ng Senado mismo.
Saad ni Nadia: "My decision to resign should not be misconstrued as an admission of guilt—it is not.
"Rather, it is a demonstration of my deep respect for the Senate and Senator Padilla’s office, so that this issue does not cause further distraction or harm.
"To prevent this baseless issue from growing any further, I would rather remove myself from the spotlight and allow the Senate to focus on its important work."
