Kalmadong nagsalita si Felicia Atienza sa eulogy niya para sa bunsong anak na si Emman Atienza.
Pero sa isang punto ng halos seven-minute speech ni Felicia, nabasag ang kanyang boses at sandaling napatigil para pigilan ang bugso ng emosyon.
Naalala kasi niya ang sandaling nakarating sa kanya ang balitang yumao na ang anak.
"Emman, the moment I found out... That we lost you... It was the deepest, deepest pain... I ever felt in my life," ani Felicia.
Liban doon ay nagpakatatag si Felicia sa harap ng mga bisita.
Naganap ang pagpupugay ni Felicia kay Emman sa huling gabi ng lamay sa Heritage Memorial Chapel sa Taguig City, Martes, November 4, 2025.
October 22 nang pumanaw si Emman sa Los Angeles.
Dalawang araw bago ito, ang huling pinadalhan ni Emman ng mensahe ay si Felicia.
Sinabi ni Emman na na siya ay nasa "emergency" at nakatakdang magpunta ng therapy center, pero sinabi rin niya na walang dapat ipag-aalala ang mga magulang.
Nasa Florida noon si Felicia para sa isang pickle ball championship.
Nauna si Felicia na nakaalam sa pagpanaw ni Emman, at siya na rin ang nagpaabot ng malungkot na balita kay Kim.

EMMAN ATIENZA'S TRAITS FROM PARENTS
Sa pagpapatuloy ng eulogy ni Felicia, buhay daw sa alaala niya ang strengths at quirks ng anak.
Tinawag niya itong "mini me."
Pero may ilang katangian din daw si Emman na minana sa ama na si Kim Atienza.
"They both have the gift of yakking. So at the dinner table, it was always yak, yak, yak, yak, between the two of them.
"And they did, as well, have the flair for the drama. They were great singers, great actors, great dancers," saad ni Felicia.
Kaya marahil di nakapagtatakang si Emman ay sumuong sa mundo ng showbiz.
Noong 2023, naging bahagi siya ng roster of artists ng Status by Sparkle, ang digital arm ng Sparkle, na talent management arm ng GMA-7. Siya ay content creator at influncer.
Ang talino raw ni Emman ay namana nito sa ina.
Pagpapatuloy ni Felicia: "But with mom, we did share very similar features, facial features.
"And we did also have a perception of, you know, long legs. We also had the duck waddle which we shared in common.
"But Emman was very intelligent. In fact, she's a better version of me. She's the version two."
Nag-aral si Emman sa isang international school sa Manila mula elementary hanggang high school.
"When she was in elementary school, the principal then said, 'The best Atienza is yet to come," sabi ni Felicia.
Sabay banggit niya sa dalawa pang anak, "Sorry, Jose. Sorry, Eliana."
Bilib daw kay Emman pati ang teacher nito sa ibang bansa.
Nag-boarding school si Emman noong pandemya para sa face-to-face classes.
Balik-tanaw ni Felicia: "When she went to boarding school, Grade 11, just for one semester, her English teacher wrote in her transcript that Emman was 'one of the most outstanding students I have ever had.'"
"Emman was very, very intelligent and she had very high EQ as well."
Kahit ang mister ni Felicia na si Kim ay sang-ayon na kay Felicia namana ni Emman ang talino.
Sa isang TikTok post noon ni Emman, naibahagi niya na ang ina raw ang breadwinner ng pamilya Atienza.
Ipinagmalaki rin noon ni Emman na nakapagpundar si Felicia ng dalawang schools, naging stockbroker at pumasok sa iba-ibang investments.
Nabanggit din noon ni Emman na nag-aaral si Felicia ng ikalawa nitong master's degree sa Harvard University.

BEST PART OF EMMAN
Balik sa eulogy, hanga raw si Felicia sa pagiging masiyahin at totoo ni Emman.
"But the most outstanding feature and characteristic of Emman was her authenticity.
"Emman shared stories openly. She shared her pain, she shared her struggles, but she also shared her joy, and that resonated deeply with many people.
"She always had space for others even in her darkest moments. And I think the thunderous outpouring of love for Emman is a testament to that."
Ayon pa kay Felicia, dumadagsa sa kanya ang masasayang alaala ng anak.
"Now in her absence, there is silence.
"But Emman, I still hear you. I hear your boisterous laughter. I hear your yakking. I hear your singing.
"I still see you. I see you walking by in your sassy streetwear. She loved cartwheeling in the house and she loved dancing as well in the house.
"And I smell her perfume all the time. She had a favorite perfume, Jo Malone. And she says, 'Don't ever tell anyone which Jo Malone it was.'
"'But Emman, I'm wearing your Jo Malone.' In fact, I snitched it from her bedroom, and it's now mine, and I'm wearing it tonight."
FELICIA'S VOW
Sa huli, sinabi ni Felicia na babaunin niya ang alaala ng anak sa pagpapatuloy niya ng buhay.
"As a pastor once said, 'In his garden of grace, even the broken trees bear fruit.'
"Emman, know that your spirit lives on in the people that you have touched. And in my life, I know that you will guide me in my choices and in my voice.
"And while heaven gained an angel, know that I will carry your torch here on earth."
Dagdag pa niya, "Emman, Emman, Emman, you are my sunshine. You are my love. You are my everything.
"And one day we will be together again. I love you. Thank you."
