Maaaring pangasiwaan ang same-sex marriage sa New York ng opisyales ng gobyerno, religious officiants, huwes, at taong naordinahan ng isang legitimate organization.

Jannica Rubin writes heartfelt message to wife Samantha Lo
Matapos ang kanilang kasal, isang heartwarming open letter ang ibinahagi ni Jannica sa Instagram para kay Samantha.
Mensahe ni Jannica: "You are the love of my life, and now I finally get to call you my wife.
"Thank you for choosing me through every mistake I’ve made, every challenge that tested us, and every moment of doubt life threw our way.
"Thank you for growing with me, not just in the easy seasons but in the messy, exhausting, imperfect ones too.
"Your patience hasn’t just held us together—it’s shaped me. Your trust hasn’t just supported me—it’s taught me how to love better, listen better, and show up better."
Siyam na taon ang relasyon ng dalawa, at ipaglalaban daw nila ang kanilang pagmamahalan.
Pagapatuloy niya: "For over 9 years, I’ve tested your strength, your heart, and your ability to keep believing in 'us,' and yet you’ve never stopped fighting for this love.

The love story of Samantha and Jannica
Noong January 30, 2023, nagkuwento si Samantha kung paano nagsimula ang pag-iibigan nila ni Jannica noon pang 2016.
Dahil aksidente niyang nabura ang unang vlog sana nila tungkol dito, pahapyaw niyang binalikan ang una nilang jeepney ride noong 2016.
Nagkita raw sila noon at namasyal sa mall.
Sabi ni Samantha: “I know many of you are very excited for the launch of La Cucharita. Funny story, I accidentally deleted the file this morning.
“So while I fix that disaster, I'll leave you with this pic to feed your kilig sensations today. Throwback to 2016, Jan took me on my first jeepney ride.”
Matapos daw nito ay bumili si Jannica ng milk tea bago sila umuwi. Doon na raw siya simulang kinilig nang maisip niyang magsi-share sila ng milk tea at iinom sa pamamagitan ng isang straw.
Sabi pa ni Samantha, “We went to the mall, and on the way back home, we shared a Chatime original pearl milktea with 100% sugar added.
“One boba, one straw, my heart screaming, ‘WE'RE SHARING BOBA!!!’ My brain screaming, ‘SHE'S SO WORTH GETTING DIABETES FOR.’
“And that's the story of our first Jeepney ride."
Tila hindi naman nakuntento sa maiksing kuwento ni Samantha ang isang follower kaya nagkomento ito ng, “Here for the full story.”
Na pinagbigyan naman ni Samantha.
Kuwento ng beauty queen, “full story: we were texting at that time and Jan promised me she would show me how to take public transit because I was very curious.
“So we set a date and time. I met her (her hair was suuuuper long at that time I remember as we dodged cars crossing the street it just waved like a blanket behind her), and we got on the jeep that took us to Ayala mall.
“I was the biggest person on that ride. I was so amazed by the experience and we were smiling at each other the whole time. We walked around the mall.
“She got chatime and I never had chatime before. I just knew it had too much sugar so I would never indulge in it.
“When we got on the jeep going back I was being tsansing and asked to try some and my heart was exploding that I was sharing a drink with her. I didn't want the ride to end. The longer we got stuck in traffic the happier I was. The end. Lol”
