Lauren Young enters a new chapter in her life after announcing her engagement to longtime boyfriend, DJ Toby Panlilio.
Lauren shared the happy news on her Instagram, Thursday, February 5, 2026, after posting photos that captured the intimate proposal during their recent trip to Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
In one of the photos, Toby can be seen kneeling while holding an engagement ring in front of Lauren.
The proposal took place in an outdoor area covered with snow, beside a huge "Sapporo" LED sign.
The actress was also seen flaunting her diamond ring.
Lauren excitedly captioned the post: "YES YES AND YES!!!!! I’M GONNA MARRY MY BEST FRIEND!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, [Toby]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Friends, fellow celebrities, and fans quickly flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, including from Lauren’s sister Megan Young, her brother-in-law Mikael Daez, and Mikael’s brother Emilio Daez.

Lauren and Toby have been together for more than eight years.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in November 2021, the actress shared that she was confident Toby would be her happy ending.
Lauren also revealed that she had always wanted to marry Toby, but the pandemic put their plans on hold.
She said: “Alam niya iyan, gusto ko siyang pakasalan.
“It’s not a secret. We talk about it, and that’s our plan talaga, but there’s a right time to do it.
“But now that we’re in the middle of the pandemic, parang it’s not really our priority to be married.
“We act like a married couple, but hindi pa namin ginagawang official talaga.
“Kapag puwede nang mag-party, kapag puwede nang maraming tao. Yun kasi ang gusto naming wedding.
"So we’re willing to wait naman for that to happen."
