Una silang nagkasama sa Sparkle U: #Soundtrip noong January 2024.
Excited daw pareho sina Zephanie at Michael na magkatrabaho muli sa isang proyekto.
Saad ni Zephanie: "Personally, super na-excite po ako na nung nalaman ko na I will be working with Michael again.
"It's been parang a year after nung nagka-work kami for Sparkle U.
"And I know na both of us, parang, went on our own path na I'm sure nag-grow kami individually.
"And now I'm so excited to see kung ano yung naging growth namin.
"And nakaka-miss kasi kapagka yung mga kaibigan mo, makaka-work mo ulit.
"So I'm really, really happy."
Baling pa niya kay Michael, "Ikaw ba? Masaya ka ba?"
Biro ni Michael sa kanya, "Miss you, too."
Pagpapatuloy ng young actor: "It's been a while, you know. I mean, I think almost three, two years hindi tayo nagka-work talaga.
"And I mean, we had a good run sa Sparkle U and I appreciate the network for entrusting us with a with a very special show, Born To Shine.
"And the story revolves around the perspective of Zeph's character, si Jennie.
"And makikita niyo yung story na pangarap niya.
"And natutuwa ako because this is a reunion project for us and I can really see that from Zephanie, I mean, she was one of the first people I met here sa Philippines.
"And unang na-notice ko sa kanya, hinahabol niya ang pangarap niya.
"So this show, feel ko it's meant for you, kasi you're born to shine, Zeph.
"And I'm just happy to be here to support her on a special project. And you guys could see, she really gave it her all.
"So, please, suportahan niyo ang reunion project namin."
Nakakuwentuhan ng media sina Zephanie, Michael, at iba pang cast ng Born To Shine sa media conference ng show noong March 16, 2026, sa GMA Network.

Zephanie, Michael sing original songs during the mediacon
Dahil may pagka-musical ang show, nagdaos ng mini-concert bago ang media conference.
Si Zephanie ang umawit ng original theme song ng serye at may original song din si Michael.
Kuwento ni Zephanie: "Kanina pa lang po nung nagre-run kami ng rehearsals, parang sobrang mga naging emotional, kasi it's finally happening.
"Mag-i-air na kami soon and we're gonna share this amazing story na nagsisimula pa lang po talaga.
"And I'm just so blessed, I'm so grateful to be here. Overwhelming. I'm so happy po.
"And yun nga po, talagang hardwork po ang lahat ng team dito. So, I'm really happy na nag-enjoy ang mga tao."
Natuwa naman si Michael na nakaawit siya ng original song.
Aniya: "Yes, [original] yung kinanta namin. We had a mini-concert for this mediacon and natuwa po ako kasi it really relates sa story ng show na to.
"And siguro natutuwa na rin ako kasi ilang interviews na tayo on set. Ngayon naman, mediacon.
"And kumbaga, for us, the cast, we got to see a bit of the show.
"And nakita namin some of the fruits of our labor, kumbaga."
