OPM singer Dionela and his non-showbiz partner Meizy Mendoza have begun their journey to forever, as the couple officially tied the knot on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Dionela shared a photo of Meizy walking down the aisle in an off-shoulder wedding gown while holding a bouquet of white flowers.

“Wait lang sa new music mga idol, ikakasal lang kami saglit brb (be right back)," Dionela captioned his post.

CELEBS SPOTTED AT DIONELA-MEIZY'S WEDDING
Based on social media posts shared by their colleagues in the local music scene, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate garden-themed ceremony attended by close family and friends.
Among those present were concert directors Paolo Valenciano and Nico Faustino, as well as fellow artists Ena Mori, Japs Mendoza, and OPM band The Juans.

The celebration also had its share of fun moments, including an appearance by content creator Ian Mark Kamangkan, popularly known as the viral “Pitik Queen.”
HOW DIONELA PROPOSED TO MEIZY?
The couple got engaged on the first day of Dionela’s The Grace concert on November 21, 2025, when he popped the question after Meizy performed “Bahaghari,” a song inspired by their relationship.
“Naalala ko na ikaw ang kasama ko noong binenta ko ang gitara ko at gusto ko nang mag-quit.
"Iyak tayong dalawa non. Nandito na tayo sa New Frontier, ang daming tao.
"Sinamahan mo ko mula simula hanggang ngayon. Gusto sana kitang yayain na samahan mo ako habang buhay.
"Meizy Mendoza, will you marry me," Dionela said while kneeling in front of Meizy.
Meizy has long been the singer’s muse, inspiring several of his songs, including “Marilag,” “Bahaghari,” and “Oksihina.”
