Wala umanong "grand ceremony" ang kanilang kasal.
Pinahalagahan lamang daw nilang magkaroon ng legal standing ang kanilang partnership.
"July 24, 2026. Bangkok, Thailand. I just married my best friend!
"No grand ceremony, just an ordinary day to make our commitment legal and official after almost eight years together.
"A simple day that became one of the most meaningful of our lives."
Ayon pa sa dating reporter, mabuti na lamang daw at pinayagan na ang same-sex marriage sa paborito nilang bansa, ang Thailand.
"Marriage isn't available for couples like us in our part of the world, so I never imagined I'd see this day.
"Thankfully, Thailand—one of our favorite countries!-made it possible, even for foreigners. Here's to spending the rest of our lives together."

Noong May 31, 2026, inanunsiyo ni Ryan ang engagement nila ni Joe-Marc.
Si Ryan mismo ang nag-propose sa eight-year-long partner niya.
Base sa post ni Ryan, sa isang restaurant sa Hong Kong nangyari ang proposal niya.
Sabi ni Ryan sa video proposal na ibinahagi niya: “He said yes!
"After almost eight years of living like a married couple, we figured we should probably make it official at some point.
"I’m not a romantic by nature but Chowee Hsieh is worth the occasional public display of cheesiness.”
