What was supposed to be a joyful moment for Rosmar Tan and her family turned into a heartbreaking experience after the content creator and entrepreneur revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage.
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, Rosmar shared what happened through a series of posts on TikTok and Facebook.
She recounted the outcome of what she expected to be a routine ultrasound appointment with her husband, Jerome Pamulaklakin.
According to Rosmar, they had been looking forward to hearing their baby's heartbeat and finding out the baby's gender through a non-invasive prenatal test.
Instead, doctors informed them that the pregnancy had stopped developing at around six weeks, with no heartbeat detected.
Expressing her grief on TikTok, Rosmar shared how the day unfolded differently from what she and her family had hoped.
"Today was supposed to be the day of my ultrasound to hear your heartbeat, but instead, I found out you were gone. You stopped growing at six weeks," Rosmar said.
"Today was also supposed to be when they drew my blood to find out your gender so we'd know in three weeks. I guess it’s just not the right time for me to be a mom of four."

"YOU WERE ONLY HERE FOR A MOMENT..."
The post included several candid photos documenting the difficult day, including one showing Rosmar in tears inside a bathroom and another of Jerome comforting her.
She also posted the baby's ultrasound image along with a short but heartfelt message: "You were only here for a moment, but you will stay in my heart forever"
In another photo featuring their family, Rosmar reflected on the life they had envisioned before the unexpected loss, noting that she, Jerome, and their three children would remain a family of five.
On Facebook, Rosmar revealed that she and Jerome had already begun preparing for the baby's arrival.
Rosmar admitted she had been especially excited about their planned gender reveal and was scheduled to undergo a non-invasive prenatal testing on the same day as her appointment.
However, the ultrasound results forced the couple to set aside those plans.
"Di niyo alam kung gaano ako ka-excited sa gender reveal. Magpa-NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) sana ako today... Pero nonsense na kasi pag transv (transvaginal ultrasound) wala na. Wala nang sense na makita gender ni baby. Wala na."
Rosmar's emotional posts quickly drew an outpouring of support from her followers, many of whom left messages of comfort, prayers, and condolences as she and her family deal with the loss of their unborn child.
