Hindi raw pinanghihinaan ng loob ang “That’s My Bae” 2015 grand winner na si Kenneth Earl Medrano kahit mahirap ang pinagdadaanan niyang chemotherapy.
Kinailangang sumailalim ni Kenneth sa chemotherapy matapos siyang ma-diagnose ng testicular cancer nitong pagpasok ng taong 2026.
Sa Facebook post niya kahapon, September 15, ibinahagi ni Kenneth ang saloobin sa kinahaharap na sakit.
Bagamat hindi madali, pinili raw niyang magpakapositibo.
Saad niya: "From the first day of chemo to almost finishing my 2nd cycle! Look at me, still smiling.
"Hindi dahil madali. Kundi dahil may mga bagay na mas pinipili mong panghawakan kaysa sa takot.
"I’ve had difficult days, but I’ve also had so many reasons to be grateful."
Payo niya sa mga taong may mga kinakaharap na pagsubok, dapat daw huwag mawalan ng pag-asa.
"And if you’re going through something of your own, I hope you remember that what you’re facing right now is only part of your story. Not the whole story."
Handa na rin daw si Kenneth sa Cycle 3 ng kanyang chemotherapy.
"Almost done with Cycle 2. And honestly? I’m ready and excited for Cycle 3. Bring it on," saad niya.

KENNETH MEDRANO WISHES TO GO BACK TO NORMALCY
Halata ang epekto ng chemo kay Kenneth dahil kalbo na siya ngayon.
Gayunpaman, excited na raw siyang magtrabahong muli at mamuhay nang normal.
"I’m so excited to work again, go out, make plans, be busy, and just live a normal life again.
"Mao nang excited ko sa akong treatment [Kaya excited ako sa aking pagpapagamot], because I know I’m getting closer to all the simple things I’ve been missing. Can’t wait to feel like myself again," saad pa ng Cebuano showbiz personality.
