ASAP XP is set to return to TV5 ten months after it left the network.
This time, it is not going to be a block-timer but as an official Kapatid production.
According to the announcement posted on TV5’s official Facebook page today, October 11, 2026, ABS-CBN and TV5 have joined forces to co-produce the long-running Sunday musical variety show.
ASAP XP will begin airing on TV5 next Sunday, October 18, 2026.

TV5 Chairman Manuel Pangilinan and ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez signed the agreement.
“We believe that working together makes the Philippine entertainment industry stronger, creates more opportunities for Filipino artists, and allows us to bring quality entertainment to more audiences, wherever they are,” Pangilinan said.
Also present at the signing of the agreement were MediaQuest President and CEO Victorico Vargas and TV5 Officer-in-Charge Chaye Cabal-Revilla.
ABS-CBN was represented by President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, and Chief Partnership Officer Bobby Barreiro.
TV5’s Cabal-Revilla said the partnership reflects the mutual trust, respect, and shared commitment between the two TV networks.
“By bringing together our creative strengths and talents, we have an opportunity to make the show even more exciting and memorable for Filipino audiences.
"We look forward to working even more closely together, creating fresh performances and new talent combinations that bring Kapatid and Kapamilya viewers together every Sunday."
The partnership gives TV5 and STAR WORX artists the chance to share the ASAP stage with established Kapamilya talents.

ASAP first aired on TV5 in January 2021, five months after ABS-CBN lost its franchise.
Under the blocktime agreement, the noontime musical variety show was aired in simulcast with A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live.
However, the partnership ended in December 2025 due to a major payment dispute and unsettled financial obligations between ABS-CBN and TV5.
Another major development for ASAP was its move from the noontime slot to the primetime slot, which began in May 2026.
TV5’s announcement did not indicate if ASAP will continue airing on primetime or if it will return to the noontime slot.
ASAP made its TV premiere on February 5, 1995, marking more than 31 years of showcasing world-class Filipino talent every Sunday.
