Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are gearing up for a gift for AlDub Nation as part on their 11th monthsary as a love team.
The lead stars of Imagine You and Me have already recorded the theme song of the movie, which was partly shot in Como, Italy.
The theme song will be officially launched tomorrow, June 16, on Eat Bulaga!
In a phone conversation with Lola Nidora, which was recorded on Eat Bulaga!'s Facebook Live, Alden admitted that he was surprised to hear Maine's voice in the theme song.
“Grabe yung boses ni Maine ibang klase. Hindi ko ine-expect na ganun... Maganda po, lola, maganda po ang pagkaka-record po ni Maine ng theme song,” said Alden.
Maine then told Lola Nidora, “Mayroon pong version na ako lang. Mayroon pong version na kaming dalawa lang ni Alden.”
When asked if she would be hitting high notes for their movie theme song, Maine replied, “Very, very light lang po, lola. Kaya naman po.”
In an interview with Vic Sotto recently, he revealed that Maine composed the lyrics of the theme song of Imagine You and Me.
He will be arranging the music of Maine's composition.
