Tila may malalim na hugot si JK Labajo sa kanyang Instagram post tungkol sa bago niyang album.
Ayon sa singer-actor, ang bago niyang album ay naglalaman ng love songs na kanyang isinulat para sa isang taong sobra niyang pinahalagahan.
Masusi raw niyang pinili ang mga titik, salita, at musika nito na tila napunta lamang sa wala.
Hindi kasi niya lubos-maisip na hindi naging pabor sa kanya ang resulta ng pinaghihirapan niya.
Kaya ang love songs na ito ay naging sad songs.
Saad niya, “shit I can’t believe this whole project would come into fruition. this album originally started out as a compilation of all the love songs that I made for someone whom I gave so much of myself to.
“a collection of all the words I wrote and the melodies that came along with it. eventually, things didn’t turn out the way I hoped for.
“the songs started to not make any sense. all the songs for love turned into songs for sadness. for me at least, they just became a bunch of bulls**t. Hence, Sad Songs and Bulls**t.
“this project originally started out with 18 songs but then we’ve decided to divide them into two parts so everyone has time to digest each track. part 2 will come in early next year.
“Thank you to everyone who became a part of this crazy adventure. I am forever grateful.
