Ang romantic comedy na B&B: The Story of the Battle of Brody and Brandy ang Valentine’s Day presentation ng streaming service na WeTV at iFlix.
Second production naman ito ng Sangg’re Productions nina Sunshine Dizon, Karylle Yuzon, Iza Calzado, at Diana Zubiri.
Ang B&B ang follow-up project sa Mystified, ang pelikulang pinagbidahan ng original Encantadia stars at nagkaroon ng successful streaming sa iFlix simula noong March 2019.
Sina Iza at Ian Veneracion ang lead stars ng B&B, na directorial debut ni Sunshine Dizon.
Hindi ipinagkaila ni Sunshine na kinabahan siyang makatrabaho si Ian dahil sa kanyang unang pagsabak bilang direktor.
Ito ang ibinahagi niya sa naganap na digital mediacon ng B&B nitong Huwebes ng hapon, February 11.
Saad ni Sunshine, “I don’t have a problem working with Iza, she’s a very dear friend of mine, si Ketchup [Eusebio], si Lovely [Abella], halos kaibigan ko lahat, e.
“Kinabahan ako kay Ian, to be honest. Sinabi ko ‘yan kay Iza.
"Sabi ko, 'Ga, kinakabahan ako. Okey lang ba ‘yon? Parang nahihiya ako na idirek si Ian.'
“Sabi niya [Iza] sa akin, ‘No, Ian is a very smart actor. I’m sure, he would respect you.’
"'Tapos okey naman. When I got to the set, after mga first two takes, okey na."
Dagdag ni Sunshine, "I was just very blessed din to work with very seasoned production people like the cameraman, the AD [assistant director], and everyone else on the set was very supportive, so ang saya.
"Sobrang thank you to GT [Georgette Tengco, WeTV executive] for the confidence and trust and to my sisters [Iza and Karylle], and Direk Mark, thank you for the opportunity."
Si Karylle ang nagkuwento sa isang funny anecdote tungkol sa pagpapasayaw ni Sunshine ng "It Really Hurts" sa production staff sa tuwing natatapos siyang kunan ang mga eksena ng B&B.
"The Unit 2 will adjust to the main unit so we had like lull moments so para lang hindi kami nabo-bore, sumasayaw kami.
"Ayaw nila, e, pero sige na lang Direk!" natatawang pagpapatotoo ni Sunshine sa rebelasyon ni Karylle tungkol sa mga pinagawa niya sa B&B production staff.
