Si John Lloyd Cruz ang isa sa mga unang bumati kay Bea Alonzo matapos maganap ang contract signing nito bilang bagong Kapuso star sa Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, sa Mandaluyong City, ngayong Huwebes, July 1.
Si John Lloyd ang unang napabalitang Kapamilya star na lilipat sa Kapuso Network, pero naunahan pa siya ng dating katambal niya sa mga teleserye ng ABS-CBN at mga pelikula ng Star Cinema.
Sa virtual welcome media conference sa kanya ng GMA-7 ngayong hapon, ikinuwento ni Bea ang pag-uusap nila ni John Lloyd.
“Kanina lang, kausap ko si John Lloyd. Sabi niya, ige-guest daw niya ako sa sitcom niya,” kuwento ni Bea na sinundan nito ng malakas na tawa.
Ibinahagi rin ni Bea sa naganap na global mediacon ang kanyang pakiramdam sa paglipat niya sa GMA-7 at ang mga pangyayari bago siya pumirma ng kontrata.
Saad niya, “It feels so good. I feel very empowered.
"And, to be honest, I feel like it came at the right time, and it feels good, it feels right.
"And when you have that in your heart, parang ang sarap ng pakiramdam.
“It took us a lot of months. Siyempre, hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ninyo that this past year has been challenging, not only for us, but for all of us.
"And it gave me a time to think and reflect on the things about my life, what I really want to do. How do I want to move on and what else do I want to do, what else who I want to chase when it comes to my dreams."
Patuloy ni Bea, “Nung dumating yung offer sa akin, I consider it as a big blessing and so the negotiations began. Parang hindi siya mabigat na type of negotiation.
“It was as if there was a respect for each other’s boundaries. Parang for me, it totally just came naturally, it totally flowed just naturally.
"And here I am, I am officially a Kapuso."
