Ang ialay sa mga miyembro ng LGBTQ community ang kanyang bagong single na "Liwanag" ang brilliant idea ng classical crossover at talented soprano singer na si Gabri Panlilio.
Si Gabri ay may showbiz connection dahil kapatid niya si Xavi Panlilio, ang asawa ni Dani Barretto.
Naghahatid ng inspirasyon at pag-asa ang "Liwanag" na may lyrics na akma sa mga gay relationship.
Kaya naisip ni Gabri na gawin na tungkol sa mga miyembro ng LGBTQ ang music video ng kanyang single.
Ang refrain ng kanta ay may hugot lyrics na, "Kahit ako’y gulong-gulo, hihinga sa piling mo" na isang mensahe na nagbibigay ng assurance para sa mga taong may pinagdaraanang emotional struggles.
"Yes, that's what it's all about—acceptance and happiness," pagsasalarawan ni Gabri sa "Liwanag."
Reunion project nila ito ng kanyang kapwa composer at arranger na si Patricia Lasaten, ang keyboardist ng sikat na pop band na Ben&Ben.
Kuwento ni Gabri: "At first, it started off when I was complimented by friends, becoming the inspiration behind this.
"I then decided, why not do a music video that's not too cliché, and make it about the LGBT? When we choose the cast, we wanted to get people who are true to themselves.
"The nice thing about it is that it's relatable to a lot of LGBT people whose parents are having a difficult time accepting who they are."
Nabanggit din niyang timely ang "Liwanag" dahil si Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez ay proud member ng LGBT community.
"Also, perhaps it's also worth mentioning that our reigning Miss Universe Philippines is LGBT as well so I'm very much sympathetic with this growing cause," ani Gabri.
