Nagbida noon si Gab Lagman sa Vivamax sexy drama movie na Bula noong 2022, pero hindi na nasundan ang pagpapaseksi niya sa pelikula.
Binigyan na siya ng mga wholesome project tulad ng Chasing in the Wild, ang Viva One original series na pinagbibidahan nila ni Hyacinth Callado.
Matagumpay ang Chasing in the Wild, patuloy na dumarami ang bilang ng mga tagahanga at tagasuporta ng HyGab loveteam nina Gab at Hyacinth, kaya tinanong ang aktor kung gusto pa rin nitong gumawa ng mga proyekto para sa Vivamax.
Hindi na nag-isip si Gab nang matagal dahil "yeah” ang kanyang mabilis na sagot.
Paliwanag niya, "If it’s the right project.
But me and the management talked about… siyempre the fans dito is wholesome, so we want to focus on the wholesome.
"Pero kapag maganda yung story, why not po?"
GAB LAGMAN ON HYACINTH CALLADO
Mula nang magtambal sina Gab at Hyacinth sa Chasing in the Wild, umasa ang kanilang mga tagasubaybay na magkaroon sila ng relasyon sa tunay na buhay.
Pero sinabi ng aktor na hindi nila pinupuwersa ang mga sarili.
"What I love about me and Hya, we don’t force anything and, of course, we try to focus muna sa career.
"And like what I’ve said, if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.
"But everything, what we do on and off cam, is genuinely real because we want to be the best versions of Sevi and Elyse.
Sevi at Else ng pangalan ng mga karakter nila sa Chasing in the Wild.
Patuloy ni Gab, "But as of now, we’re really good friends. We enjoy working with each other and we bring the best out of each other."
Basketball captain ang papel na ginagampanan ni Gab sa original series ng Viva One at gustung-gusto niya ang kanyang karakter, dahil sa totoong buhay, mahilig siya na maglaro ng basketball.
Malaki ang posibilidad na kung hindi naging artista si Gab, baka basketball player siya at hindi nurse.

Nursing ang dating kurso ni Gab sa isang kolehiyo sa Las Vegas.
Kuwento niya: "I got a scholarship going to college. I had good grades. But at the same time, I still enjoyed [my life].
"I lived in Las Vegas, it’s a sin city, so I still enjoyed going to parties and stuff, but I made sure I had good grades. “
"I had a choice actually to go to a university or community college.
"But kapag nag-community college kasi ako, magkakaroon ako ng extra money and the scholarship will pay for it.
"Pero kapag university, I have to do a student loan, so I chose community college so I can pay for my school."
Working student daw si Gab noon.
"Then, I was working two jobs. I didn’t want to ask my family to pay for my school. I wanted to be a nurse, a travel nurse. I wanna travel the world.
"And my mom is a nurse and she wanted me to be a nurse so she told me about being a travel nurse can work in different cities.
Pero na-discourage si Gab sa kanyang kurso nang lubos siyang maapektuhan sa pagpanaw ng isang kamag-anak.
Balik-tanaw niya: "I realized when one of my closest family member died, I didn’t want to [be a nurse ] anymore.
"When I had a choice to go home, I took a big risk, I signed with Viva and the rest is history.”
