Minsan nang naranasan ni Congressman Kiko Barzaga, kinatawan ng Dasmariñas, Cavite, ang makipag-date sa isang transgender woman.
Ito ang kanyang rebelasyon sa eksklusibong panayam sa kanya ni Boy Abunda sa The Interviewer show na mapapanood sa The Boy Abunda Talk Channel sa YouTube.
Nagsimula ang usapan sa relationship status ni Barzaga.
Ang tanong ni Boy: "Do you have a girlfriend?"
Sagot ng young politician: "No, too busy for that, but I do casually date girls from time to time, like twice, three times a week.
“No girlfriend at this point. No serious relationship.
"But I am seeing girls. I am having my fun,” ang sagot ni Barzaga na sinundan nito ng pilyong halakhak."
Sa recent posts niya sa Facebook, may isang babae na madalas niyang kasama sa mga events.
Hindi siya natanong tungkol dito, pero heto ang tila ay paliwanag ng 27-year-old congressman.
"I am having my fun hindi yung sa pictures-pictures. Those are complete professionals. That’s part of their job kasi parang mga influencer din sila tapos yun ang mga picture, photo ops nila.”

Mas dumami ba ang nagmi-message sa kanya nung naging "very visible" siya?
Sagot ni Barzaga: “Yes, but if I am being perfectly honest, majority of those messaging me are from the LGBT community, which I welcome.
"But I have to always explain to them that I’m straight and I don’t participate in that.”
Niligawan ka na ng bakla?
"I always, I mean always say no except,” ang nag-aalinlangang sabi ni Barzaga na isinenyas ang mga kamay bilang pahiwatig na wala siyang isyu laban sa mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community.
Kasunod nito, kusa niyang inamin na nakipag-date siya noon sa isang transgender woman.
"May time dati na nakipag-date ako tapos hindi ko pala alam na transgender.
"Nalaman ko lang after…wala naman nangyari sa akin, but it’s like a casual date tapos malalaman ko from her friend na transgender.
"It’s a very funny story, but not really one I’d like to say in front of everyone,” ang kuwento ni Barzaga.

KIKO BARZAGA ON MARTIN ROMUALDEZ
Hindi lamang ang personal na buhay ni Barzaga ang napag-usapan nila ni Boy dahil naitanong din sa kanya ang mga kritisismo niya laban sa dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez, na nasasangkot ang pangalan sa isyu ng corruption at bilyun-bilyong pisong nanakaw mula sa pondo ng flood-control projects.
"Why is he your enemy?” ang usisa ni Boy kay Barzaga.
Sagot niya: "It’s not necessarily that Martin Romualdez is my enemy, but he goes against the interest of the people, who, I would consider my friends, which are the people of the Philippines.
"He’s no longer working for the benefit of the Philippines and him getting away would prove that every other speaker could do what he has done and get away with it as well.
"So, therefore, I am maximizing my efforts to ensure that Martin Romualdez will be held accountable for any possible involvement he has and for any negligence he may have in the flood control anomalies.”
Ano ba ang nagawa ni Martin Romualdez?
"There are only two possibilities in the scenario, either he’s involved in the flood-control projects, in which, he must be investigated.
"Or he’s completely negligent in the flood-control anomalies, which means he must also be investigated because allowing congressman to steal hundreds of billions as the sitting speaker is also something worthy of investigation.”
