Hindi na masasaksihan ng ina ni Phoebe Walker, 34, ang pagpapakasal ng kanyang anak sa DJ na si Rico Robles, 45.
Pumanaw ang ina ni Phoebe na si Mildred Medrano dahil sa diabetes, long-term hypertension, at kidney failure noong Abril 2025.
Siya ay 62.
Inilarawan ni Phoebe ang kanyang ina bilang isang matapang na Ilocana mula sa Rosario, La Union.
Kahit wala na ang kanyang ina, tiniyak ni Phoebe na magkakaroon ito ng malaking bahagi sa pag-iisang dibdib nila ni Rico na magaganap sa Hunyo 7, 2026 sa isla ng Boracay.
Hinintay muna nina Phoebe at Rico ang babang-luksa bago sila nagpasyang magpakasal.
Saad ng actress-host: “I will be using her necklace pero inangkin ko na.
"And then she’ll have a special memorial chair sa ceremony that we had, like, a silk cloth printed for her.
“And then in my bouquet, I’ll have like a little trinket of her photo.
"Actually, I’m legitimated so, meaning, I was four years old when they [her parents] got married.
"I have that picture of us on her wedding day and yun ang ipina-print ko for the trinket na isasabit ko sa bouquet."

PHOEBE-RICO WEDDING DETAILS
Nagpaunlak si Phoebe magbigay ng ilang detalye tungkol sa mga paghahandang ginagawa nila ni Rico para sa kanilang nalalapit na beach wedding.
“Noong Enero, we’re back and forth with the idea of getting married in Los Angeles, California, kasi yung family ni Rico is 90 percent in L.A.
“But obviously, with the planning and everything, mahirap. And then, mahal din ikasal doon.
“I really went with what I wanted to do, which was a beach wedding. We decided to go with Boracay kasi that’s our favorite island in the Philippines.
“My ninong, Oliver Tolentino, is the one who will do my gown and also Rico’s suit. He will also be there at the wedding.
“That’s my pangarap, to be a June bride talaga."
Pagpapatuloy ni Phoebe: "Hindi ko naman talaga inasam na maging bride at all when I was young. It wasn’t my dream whatever.
"But then, recently, having met Rico and then suddenly, just wanting to settle down and finally realizing, 'OK, sige, let’s get married, and then when?'
“Then my mom passed last April 2025 so I had to wait for that babang-luksa to end, so I didn’t want to plan anything.”
Paano natiyak ni Phoebe na si Rico ang “the one” para sa kanya?
Sagot niya: “Just the way we are together. Very, very supportive kasi siya and it’s been easy with me especially sa work ko.
“A lot of my exes were angry with… especially with my past din sa industry. It became an issue all the time.
"But then with Rico, it was never an issue. I think kasi he’s mature na din.
"And having grown up in Los Angeles so he has that western mentality as well."

PRENUP PICTORIAL
Ang gawin sa Japan ang kanilang prenup pictorial ang unang balak nina Rico at Phoebe.
Pero nagkaroon ng pagbabago kaya pinili nila ang Hong Kong dahil dito isinilang ang aktres.
Lahad ni Phoebe: “We were thinking of going abroad.
"So, una, Japan. Pero nagkaproblema sa visa si Rico.
"I decided, I think Hong Kong is actually a better fit for me.
“If you see some of the photos, we’re eating and drinking, those were actually my snacks growing up."
Pagbabahagi pa ni Phoebe: “Sa Hong Kong nagkakilala ang mom and dad ko.
"My dad’s British and he was working for South China Morning Post, he’s a journalist and now he’s with the Olympics.
"He’s an editor for the Olympics, also of Asia, so sports ang mundo ng dad ko.
“Now he’s in Nagoya for the ASEAN Games but he’s based in the Philippines na since the pandemic.”
Sa prenup photos na ibinahagi nina Phoebe at Rico sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), makikitang kinunan ang kanilang mga larawan sa old Hong Kong at mapapansin din sa background ang mga iconic neon signs.
Sinadya raw nina Phoebe at Rico na isama sa kanilang prenup pictorial ang mga iconic neon sign na ipinapaalis ng pamahalaan ng Hong Kong “due to safety regulations,” pero mahigpit na tinututulan ng mamamayan.
Ipinaglalaban ng mga conservation group na malaking bahagi ng cultural heritage ng Hong Kong ang mga iconic neon light kaya dapat panatilihin ito at huwag alisin.
