Lahad niya: “I wrote the script as well. Inspiration basically are my friends.

"I have friends na girls na parang kinonek ko‘yung story nila, personality nila, everytime we go out to parties to drink.”

“Actually, it’s my homage din to my relatives. I have a lot of relatives na nasa LGBTQ+ community.

"And basically, I grew up with my aunt na may partner siya na I would see them kiss in a show of affection.

“So growing up, for me, yung girl love is a normal thing.

“Sa inyo, aware naman kayo na I have a relative din na nasa LGBTQ+.

"First cousin ko kasi si Ice [Seguerra], so talagang nasa dugo namin siya. So, it’s my homage to them,” lahad ni Direk Rain.

Saad niya: “Na-discover ko yung cinematography kasi I love photography, and I fell in love with the idea of capturing images and bringing life to these images.

"So, parang it was my stepping stone and it helped me understand the language of filmmaking.

"Kasi I was able to work with different famous award-winning director so I got a lot of influence from them.”

ASTRID LEE FULLFILLS DREAM OF JOINING SHOWBIZ

Lahad niya: “I remember parang 12 years old pa lang ako that time and then, nakapasa po ako sa Level 1 at Level 2 ng auditions.
