Naglabas ng public advisory nitong Sabado, Oktubre 17, 2026, ang Diocese of Tagum Social Communications Ministry (DiTaSCoM) ng Roman Catholic Diocese of Tagum, Davao del Norte, tungkol kay Fr. Christian Soronio, 29.
Ang pari ay napagtuunan ng atensiyon ng publiko dahil sa kanyang kaguwapuhan.
Marami ang kinilig at naging tagahanga ni Fr. Soronio nang mag-viral ang video niya matapos maimbitahang magmisa at mag-bless ng isang tindahan ng damit sa Panabo City, Davao del Norte.
Naging palasak sa social media ang mga birong:
“I have to confess po, Father. Lord, kailangan po ba makipagkumpitensiya sa Inyo?”
"Forgive me Father for I have sinned."
"Sa ngalan ng Ama at sa anak nating dalawa."
"Sa dami ng puwedeng kalaban ko, si Lord pa?”
Nagkaroon tuloy ng interes ang mga humahanga kay Fr. Soronio na alamin ang mga impormasyon tungkol sa kanyang personal na buhay.
Pero may ilan na sinamantala ang pagkakataon at gumawa pa ng fake social media accounts, na siyang dahilan para maglabas ng babala at paalaala ang Diocese of Tagum Social Communications Ministry ng Roman Catholic Diocese of Tagum.
Public Advisory about FR. CHRISTIAN SORONIO'S FAKE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
Dahil sa popularidad ngayon sa social media ni Fr. Soronio, nagbigay ng babala ang DiTaSCoM sa publiko na maging maingat sa mga impostor at mga mapagsamantala.
"The Diocese of Tagum Social Communications Ministry (DiTaSCoM) informs the faithful and the general public that Fr. Christian Soronio does not currently maintain any official social media accounts.
"The public is therefore advised to exercise caution regarding online accounts bearing his name or identity.
"Everyone is urged to remain vigilant against possible impersonation, particularly in cases involving requests for donations, financial assistance, or other transactions made in his name.
"For verification and proper guidance, please refer to the official communication channels of the Diocese of Tagum."
Bukod dito, nagbigay din ng paalala tungkol sa paggawa at pag-share ng posts tungkol sa alagad ng Diyos.
“We likewise appeal to everyone to exercise prudence in sharing information and to refrain from circulating unverified claims or posting sexualized, malicious, or degrading remarks.
"In our use of social media, may we remain guided by truth, charity, and respect for the dignity of every person.
"Let us uphold the values of responsible communication and Christian charity in our words and actions, both online and offline.”
Isinilang noong Oktubre 22,1996, si Fr.Soronio.
Bago sumapit ang ika-30 na kaarawan niya sa darating na Huwebes, hindi inaasahang nabulabog ang mundo niya dahil sa kanyang viral video.
Inordinahan si Fr. Soronio bilang deacon ng Diocese of Tagum noong Oktubre 11, 2024, sa Christ The King Cathedral.
