Will You Be My Ex? ang title ng romance movie nina Julia Barretto at Diego Loyzaga. Ang director ay si Real Florido.
Tapos na ang shooting ng movie. Kabilang sa cast sina Bea Binene, Debbie Garcia, Juan Carlos Galano, Mickey Ferriols, Divine Aucina, at Phoemela Baranda.
Kinumusta namin kay Julia si Diego bilang bagong leading man niya.
Sagot ng aktres, "He’s wonderful. He’s a really great leading man and a great person to work with.
"He’s such a gentleman. He’s really kind. So napadali yung trabaho ng lahat because everybody really got along so well.
"And we really had so much fun while we were shooting."
Nakapanayam si Julia sa sa opening ng Limbaga 77 restaurant noong Marso 1, 2023, Miyerkules, sa Garden Restaurants area ng Trinoma Mall sa Quezon City.
Kasama niya sa event si Direk Real na nagbigay ng patikim sa tema ng pelikula.
"It’s about two people na in and out in their relationship in their lives until they decided to put an end [to it]," sabi ni Direk Real.
Challenging iyong last movie ni Julia na Expensive Candy, kung saan katambal niya si Carlo Aquino.
Ano ang naging challenge sa bago niyang movie?
"I think this was very much emotionally challenging," mabining tugon ni Julia.
"And, you know, I think, there were a lot of challenges that came with the story, but because, again, everybody was so supportive of each other, parang naging smooth talaga yung trabaho.
"And yeah, I feel like every project and every story naman na we take on, we make sure na it gives us a sense of challenge because that’s part of our growth.
"But I think for this, because it’s quite heavy, it is emotionally challenging in that sense.
"Kasi I feel like yung journey ng character ko dito, her feelings are always on and off, on and off, on and off.
"Parang she’s always like push and pull, push and pull. So I think in that sense, na-miss ko naman yung challenge na yun, yeah," pagngiti ni Julia.
NOEL FERRER:
Mahirap ba ang paghugot ng mga ganoong emosyon, o nahugot niya sa mga pinagdaanan niya?
"I’m always so grateful na yung back story ng characters na nabibigay sa akin are so clear and pure and deep," sabi ni Julia.
"So napagkukuhanan yun ng inspiration, yung character na mismo. Hindi naman yun kailangang palagi si Julia yung pinagkukuhanan ng inspiration.
"I mean, the story itself is touching, is sad in its own way, beautiful in its own way. So I think marami sa amin nakakuha ng inspiration sa characters mismo."
At this time, when we are out of formula, malayang makakapamili at makakagawa si Julia ng projects na makakapagpaunlad pa ng kanyang artistry at box-office clout.
