Tapos na ang shooting ng MMFF 2023 official entry na (K)Ampon starring Derek Ramsay and Beauty Gonzalez.
Facebook post ng K(ampon) producer na si Atty. Joji Alonso nitong Setyembre 21, Huwebes, “We finally wrapped up the principal photography of our film (K)Ampon.
“Ironically, even if we were making a horror film with all the blood and gore, prosthetics and head casts and all the eerie feels, our set was filled with cool vibes with food and coffee and milk tea galore, including a visit from the Tanduay girls.
“Basta ang saya sa set kahit ang hirap ng ginagawa ng lahat! At kahit inulan kami ng bongga sa last day, everyone worked even harder as a team to finish the shoot as scheduled. I so love this team!!!”
Pinasalamatan ni Atty Joji ang mga artista ng (K)Ampon.
Aniya, “Thank you Derek Ramsay for saying yes and trusting me with your new film and agreeing to do all those difficult scenes. I’m so glad you took on the complex role of Clark. This role was intended and perfectly played by you.

Samantala, ang isa pang MMFF 2023 official entry na Rewind starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera ay nag-umpisa nang mag-shooting kahapon, September 2.
Kasama sa cast ng Rewind sina Joross Gamboa, Coney Reyes, Ariel Ureta, at Ina Feleo, sa direksiyon ni Mae Cruz Alviar.
Nang mainterbyu namin si Marian sa Solmux Advance Jam noong Setyembre 16, Sabado, sa SM North EDSA The Block, Quezon City ay hindi pa niya masabi kung ano ang plano nila ni Dingdong sa Kapaskuhan.
Aniya, pag-uusapan pa lang nila ni Dingdong.
Maraming adjustments dahil sa MMFF. Siyempre, lalahok sila sa Parade of Stars. Meron pang awards night.
Ano kamo ang Christmas wish ni Marian?
Tugon ng Kapuso Primetime Queen, “Christmas wish? Andami kong gusto pero ang hirap isa-isahin. Siguro ano lang, ahhmm ang pinaka-priority ko talaga is yung family ko.
“Buo kami na masaya at alam mo yun, ligtas sa ano mang karamdaman. Yun, yun na ang priority ko sa isip ko palagi.”

Ang puspusan ng shooting ngayon ay ang pelikulang Penduko with Cristine Reyes and Matteo Guidicelli who may be dabbling his time from Black Rider taping, Unang Hirit live at ang shooting ng pelikula.
By next week, September 29, Friday, deadline na ng submission ng finished films sa MMFF 2023. Pero ngayon pa lang, nakikita na natin ang mga nagpaparamdam na mga entries.
Trying to muscle their way thru the audience awareness sa pamamagitan ng press/media conferences plus kung anu-ano pang poster at teaser reveal.
Magandang pagpapakitang-gilas din kasi ito sa puwersa nilang makapag-promote at makahikayat ng maraming manonood kapag sila ay pinalad na mapasok sa four remaining slots na natitira sa MMFF ngayong taon.

Excited si Mayor Enrico Roque nang naka-text ko kahapon, dahil almost finished na raw yung pelikula nina Sharon at Alden. Magku-color grade na lang daw sila, tapos na tapos na ito.
Na-curious din ako kung gaano ka-horror itong (K)Ampon nina Derek at Beauty.
Pero marami rin sa mga finished films na nakatakda nang i-submit sa MMFF.
Nasilip ko na ang ilang eksena ng Unspoken Letters ng Utmost Creatives. Family movie ito na tumatalakay sa kuwento ng isang batang may Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Interesting din itong pelikula ni Donny Pangilinan na GG The Movie o Good Game na prinodyus ng Mediaworks, Cignal Entertainment, at Create Cinema.
First esports movie ito na tumatalakay sa kinahuhumalingan ng mga kabataan na egames. Nakipag-tie up pa sila sa Metasports para mag-put up ng original FPS game na pinamagatang Requiem. Mapapanood ito sa naturang pelikula.
Sana, mapansin daw ito ng nasa screening committee at i-consider nila para makita kung ano talaga ang kuwento sa likod ng esports.
Sabi ni Maricel Laxa, tiyak na makaka-relate din dito ang mga magulang, dahil family movie rin ito.
"Para ito sa lahat ng edad. It's a family film and everyone will surely enjoy this, because we made it thinking of everyone in mind," pahayag ni Maricel sa press launch ng GG The Movie na ginanap sa Trinoma Cinema 5 nung Huwebes, September 21.
