Ibinasura ng Branch 46 ng Metropolitan Trial Court ng Pasay City ang two counts ng kasong acts of lasciviousness na isinampa ni Sandro Muhlach laban sa GMA-7 independent contractors na sina Richard "Dode" Cruz at Jojo Nones.
Na-serve electronically ang resolution at natanggap ito ng kampo nina Cruz at Nones noong February 7, 2025, Biyernes.
Pirmado ito ni Presiding Judge Rechie N. Ramos-Malabanan.

Ang resolution ay kaugnay sa motion to quash na isinumite ng kampo nina Cruz at Nones noong January 9, 2025.
Base sa resolution, meron nang kasong rape through sexual assault na isinampa laban sa dalawang independent contractors sa Department of Justice (DOJ) kaya "overkill" na itong kasong acts of lascviousness.
Inihambing ito sa kasong People vs. Alvin Abulon y Salvania.
Nakasaad sa resolution, “The Supreme Court categorically held that 'acts of lasciviousness' or abusos dishonestos are necessarily included in rape.”
Dagdag pa sa resolution: “Indeed, the acts of lasciviousness being complained of before this court are necessarily included in the charge of rape before the RTC.
"Again, the prosecution resorted to an ‘overkill’ by filing the instant Informations of Acts of Lasciviousness when clearly the acts are constitutive and/or simultaneous and are deemed absorb in the rape case with the alleged sole intent and purpose of arousing and ultimately gratifying the accused’ own sexual desires.”
Sa madaling-salita, na-grant ang motion to quash ng kampo ng mga akusado at kasunod nito ay na-dismiss na ang kaso.

Kaagad hiningan ng PEP Troika ng reaksiyon ang kampo ni Sandro Muhlach kaugnay nito.
Ayon sa legal counsel niyang si Atty. Czarina Raz, hindi sila ang may hawak ng kasong acts of lasciviouness sa MTC ng Pasay City.
Ang kasong rape through sexual assault naman daw ay nasa Department of Justice (DOJ) na.
Mas mabuting ang DOJ daw ang hingan ng pahayag kaugnay rito.

Nag-text din ang PEP Troika sa ama ni Sandro na si Niño Muhlach, pero wala pa kaming natatanggap na sagot mula sa kanya.

Hindi nagbigay ng pahayag sina Richard Cruz at Jojo Nones kaugnay ng resolution ng Pasay court.
Ang sabi lang ng legal counsel nilang si Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, “We are very happy that the court saw the legal infirmity that we had been raising at the onset of the case.”
Nag-file na rin daw sila ng motion to quash sa Regional Trial Court ng Pasay City para sa kasong rape through sexual assault.
Hinihintay na lang daw nila ang desisyon ng korte.
