Showing na rin today ang The Crucifix; ang exclusive sa SM cinemas na Holy Night: Demon Hunters; ang exclusive sa Robinsons Movieworld na Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye; at ang exclusive sa Ayala Malls cinemas na Don’t Sleep at rewind ng old Pinoy movies na T-bird at Ako (1982) nina Nora Aunor at Vilma Santos, at Mga Anak ni Facifica Falayfay (1987) nina Dolphy at Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Nawala sa lineup yung Lasting Moments nina JM de Guzman at Sue Ramirez; pati yung Beyond The Call of Duty nina Martin del Rosaro, Paolo Gumabao, Devon Seron, at Maxine Trinidad.
Originally ay Mayo 21 ang playdate ng Lasting Moments, kasabay sana ang Lilo & Stitch. Inilipat ito sa June 4 playdate.
Bago ang premiere screening ng Lasting Moments noong Hunyo 2, Lunes, sa SM Megamall, ini-announce ng writer-director na si Fifth Solomon na iniurong na sa July 30, 2025 ang playdate ng pelikula.

BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY
Sa storycon ng Beyond The Call of Duty noong Abril 1 sa mansion ni Governor Chavit Singson sa Corinthian Gardens, ini-announce ng writer-director ng movie na si Jose “JR” Olinares na Mayo 28 ang kanilang playdate.
Inilipat iyon afterwards sa June 4 playdate.
Kahapon, Hunyo 3, Martes, bandang 1:00 P.M. ini-announce sa Facebook page ng Pinoyflix na Setyembre 3, 2025, na ang theatrical showing ng Beyond The Call of Duty.
Nag-premiere screening ang Beyond The Call of Duty kagabi sa Cinema 11 ng Gateway Mall, Cubao, Quezon City.

Kagabi rin ang premiere screening ng pelikulang Wild Boys sa Cinema 3 naman ng Gateway Mall.
Parehong nasa cast ng Wild Boys at Beyond The Call of Duty sina Martin Escudero at Christian Singson.
Dumalo sa premiere ng Wild Boys si Martin, samantalang present sa premiere ng Beyond The Call of Duty si Christian.

Ang Viva Films ang distributor nito, pero sabi ng direktor ng pelikula na si Carlos Morales, ang Viva ang nag-aasikaso ng distribution nila.

RESEARCH ABOUT VIEWING HABITS OF FILIPINO AUDIENCE
Samantala, nakipag-partner ang Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) sa De La Salle University’s Social Research and Development Center para pag-aralan ang viewing habits ng Filipino audiences sa Metro Manila.
May research silang pinamagatang “Habit and Preferences of Filipino Viewers of Local Films in Metro Manila” that addresses the persistent decline in cinema attendance, which has been further impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, increased access to digital platforms, and other viewing alternatives.
Sabi pa sa ipinadalang press release ng FDCP: “Through surveys and focus group discussions, the study examined audience demographics, film preferences, and perceptions of both local and foreign cinema.
“Key results show the need for higher-quality content, more strategic and engaging marketing, greater support for local productions in cinemas, increased industry backing, and strengthened academic partnerships to foster youth participation in Philippine cinema.
“This study aims to equip industry stakeholders with vital insights into Philippine media consumption patterns, enabling them to craft informed strategies that can improve the local cinema scene and enhance the overall movie-going experience.”
