Tuwing Huwebes at Sabado ito, Oktubre 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 at 31, 2026.
Kumusta ang health ni Mr. Pure Energy?
“With my health, I’m OK,” pahayag ni Gary V sa mediacon noong Setyembre 7, Lunes, sa Mango Tree restaurant ng Greenhills Mall.
“I have to have annual checkups. And sometimes, in the middle of the year, I have to go in for other things that, baka meron… biglang meron ako makikita na minsan namamaga yung leg ko.
“So I have to have it checked tapos yun pala it’s just this, I have to take a little medication and then OK na lahat.
“So with regard to my health, I’m good. If I wasn’t good, I wouldn’t pursue Back at the Museum.”
GARY VALENCIANO "PARANG BAGETS" LOOK
Parang hindi tumatanda si Gary V. Parang bagets pa rin ang hitsura niya.
Pagbibiro ng wife niyang si Angeli Pangilinan, vampire si Mr. Pure Energy.
“Actually, I just want to let you know that, that word ‘parang’ — that’s the biggest word!” bulalas ni Gary V.
“Parang lang yon. Parang. But that’s the reason why I don’t do back-to-back concerts now. Because the body can only do so much.
“And I never, never want people to see me when they know that I’m not OK because I’m tired.
“I wanna give people more than what they came to see, more than what they paid to see.”
Nagpa-enhance ba siya? Sumailalim ba siya sa stem cell procedure?
“No. I’ve not undergone any procedure whatsoever with regard to the face. Also because I am a Type 1 diabetic,” paliwanag ni Gary V.
“At minsan, nagkakaproblema ang isang diabetic when a period of healing needs to happen. Sometimes we don’t heal that quickly.
“I had surgeries and all, and thank God, di ba, I’ve been able to heal really quick.
“But no, I haven’t done any stem cell especially also because I am a cancer survivor.
“And from what I know, I don’t know kung medyo iba na yung studies ngayon, but from what I know, what’s dangerous with stem cell is that it is meant to regenerate cells.
“So if I do have cancer cells that are dormant, baka ma-regenerate yon. Then we’re back to square one.
“Now I know that there have been advancements in stem cell research, and I’m willing to listen to that. But I have to be very careful with it as well.”

BACK AT THE MUSEUM
Bago pa ang upcoming concert series na ito, nakapag-perform na si Gary ng 103 shows sa Music Museum.
Itong Back at the Museum ay isa sa highlights ng 40th anniversary ng Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management Inc., na nakasama ni Gary sa kanyang journey throughout his career.
Special guest dito ang singer-songwriter na si Kakie, formerly known professionally as Frankie Pangilinan.
Ang ticket ay nagkakahalaga ng PHP10,000, PHP7,500, PHP5,000, PHP3,000 at PHP1,500.
Beneficiary ng concert series ang Shining Light Foundation.

Mas gusto ba niyang sa intimate venue na lang gaya ng Music Museum mag-perform sa halip na sa coliseum, stadium o malaking arena?
“With regard to the solos, big stadium performances, I have put that chapter to the side already,” sabi ni Gary Valenciano.
“And I’m going in for more intimate shows. Which I’m finding out ahh more people would rather do. It’s less traffic to worry about.
“It will be traffic here in the Greenhills area but as compared to a crowd of fifteen or ten thousand and then you could have to things like that. I’d like more intimate shows now.
“However, if let’s say, there is a big concert at the Araneta or any other big venue and they want me to guest in the concert, yan, puwede ko pang gawin yan.
“I don’t mind doing that. So let’s say, if Regine Velasquez decides to have another run at her Finale, and she wants to do a back-to-back concert, let’s say with me, I would be more than happy.
“Because we never really had a back-to-back show, kami ni Regine.”
Tinapos ng kanyang six-show Pure Energy: One Last Time concert series ang chapter ng kanyang solo concerts na malaki ang scale, pero hindi nito tinapos ang chapter ng kanyang pagpe-perform.
Meron ding gagawing shows si Gary V sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa.
“Kasi lagi kaming nagtu-tour abroad but my desire is really to go around the Philippines habang kaya ko pa,” pagtatapat ni Gary V.
“Ang problema lang is that, you know, like if I go to Cebu, siyempre people will expect me to perform at the Arena, the new Arena in Cebu.
“Which for me, I’d rather again look for a more intimate venue. Kung puwede pa nga, you know, several shows in Cebu na may araw sa gitna, so I can rest.
“And then do another show the next day. Yung mga ganun. Iyan iyung mga concerts na kayang-kaya ko pa.
“And then I’m going to Bacolod also. And it’s going to be mixed with yung ginagawa ko rin na face-to-face advocacy, talking to the students at the schools. So we’ll be there for more days.”

Pumasok din siya sa bagong medium sa pamamagitan ng Unshaken With Gary V, ang kanyang iHeartRadio podcast.

“And so this means a lot to me that you’re here. I get to do that on a very personal level with each guest that I have.
“And the guests are going to get more interesting as the weeks go by. But some people might say, ‘Huh? Sino itong ini-interview ni Gary? Hindi ko ito masyadong kilala.’
“Correct. But these are the people that somehow touched my heart or spoke to me or encouraged me…
“I am enjoying it. I don’t know how long I can do it, but I’m enjoying it very much.”
DREAM INTERVIEWEES
Kabilang sa mga dream niyang mainterbyu sa podcast ang sports personalities na sina Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Alex Eala, at Manny Pacquiao.
“The ultimate for me, the GOAT [greatest of all time], Michael Jordan,” sabi ni Gary V.
“He has inspired me not just with the way he plays but the mindset when he plays. And he never slows down. He just gives everything that he can.
“And I like what he said. He said, if you seek greatness, it’s not really going to happen. But if you just perform at your greatest all the time, it is bestowed upon you.
“And he told this to Oprah sometime ago. And that struck me as him, being the greatest of all time, at yet being humble enough to say thay that.”
Alam ni Gary V na uuwi si Alex Eala sa Pilipinas sa Disyembre.
Malamang daw na maging speechless siya for a while kapag nakaharap niya ito sa studio for an interview.
“Iba ang sports, e. When you’re a sports personality, you’re allowing people to see you in the moments of battle and competition,” saad ni Gary V.
“And you don’t always win, but you still keep going. And there’s a lot of discipline and commitment, passion and perseverance that’s involved.
“When it comes to sports personalities, wow, grabe ang pinagdadaanan ng mga ito! And it’s a very short window, ha?
“I mean, when Alex gets to the age of 26, 27, or 28, she’s no longer what she is now. She’s only 21. Iba na, iba na ang mga nandirito.
“So I’d like to explore and just ask questions about how she sees that, itong season ng buhay niya knowing that at some point, it will end.
“But it would change, it would move to an older Alex Eala. But that’s still to come. But how nice to talk about those things para malaman din ng tao.”
