The Brazilian-Filipino teen was one of the models featured at the 2018 Mindanao Fashion Summit where she met Harley Tan, who became her agent.
SUPERMODEL ME
Nikki's modeling career took a turn for the better when she participated in the reality series SuperModel Me: Revolution in 2021.
The show aired on AXN Asia and iQIYI, which allowed her to gain international recognition.
Vying for the title against 11 contestants, Nikki secured the second position, narrowly missing the position claimed by Vietnam's Nguyen Quynh Anh.

PAGEANTRY
Miss Governor's Cup South 2018
Her journey as a beauty queen began with her participation in the Miss Governor's Cup South 2018 pageant, held at the Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City, Philippines.
Miss Teen Philippines 2019
At the tender age of 15, Nikki bolstered her potential in the pageant scene by competing against 30 candidates for the Miss Teen Philippines 2019 title.
She was crowned the final victor at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
Miss Grand Philippines 2023
Representing Cagayan de Oro City at the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 competition, Nikki bested 29 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
She was preceded by Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2022 Roberta Tamondong.
On July 24, 2023, the 20th city council of CDO granted her a house resolution of commendation for her feat as Miss Grand Philippines 2023.
Miss Grand International 2023
Nikki was 19 years old when she represented the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2023 on October 25, 2023 and competed against 68 delegates at the Phú Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
One beauty queen who was rooting for her was Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who said, "Ang ganda niya. Sana manalo siya. I like her."
Unfortunately, she finished the competition unplaced.
And when the pageant fans questioned why Nikki did not even make it to top 20, Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil called her "very unprofessional" who hastily left the stage even if the coronation night was not over yet.
The beauty queen has not responded to the allegations of Nawat.

ADVOCACY
Environmental Preservation
As a beauty queen, Nikki devotes herself to championing causes that are close to her heart.
One of them is environmental awareness: "I chose environmental preservation because if you don’t improve [the state of] the environment right now, in the next 12 years, it will vanish.
"I’m very concerned about that," she said in an interview.
Mental Health
In the same interview, Nikki shared how important it was for her to be a beacon of support for individuals struggling with mental health: "I want to help teenagers and adults who are depressed."
She added, "I’ve always wanted to take up psychology since I was a little girl."
