Julia Montes is returning to the big screen!
The Kapamilya actress is set to star in Topakk, an upcoming action-thriller film, and has started her immersion training.
The news is released by Julia's management, Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., in an Instagram post dated September 25, 2022.

Featuring behind-the-scenes photos, its caption reads (published as is), "Nagsimula na si Julia Montes mag-immersion training para sa 'TOPAKK', ang inaabangang action thriller film ni Direk Richard Somes."
Other cast members of the film are Arjo Atayde, Sid Lucero, Sylvia Sanchez, Vin Abrenica, Pocholo Barretto, Kokoy de Santos, and Paolo Paraiso.

Julia's starring role in Topakk comes after her successful stint in the longest-running teleserye FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, where she starred as the love interest of Coco Martin.
The two have long been rumored to be in a relationship, but neither has ever gone on record to confirm this.
Julia and Coco were first paired on screen in 2012 in Walang Hanggan, and became co-stars in A Moment in Time (2013) and Ikaw Lamang (2014).
On August 17, 2022, the 27-year-old actress trended on social media amid the rumors that she is allegedly pregnant with their second child.
As of writing, no further details about Julia's upcoming film have been released.
