Just over a year after getting engaged in February 2023, Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo and her Canadian partner Scott Moore finally exchanged their sweet I do's.
The pageant titlist and her partner held an intimate wedding ceremony at the Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, on April 12, 2024, which signaled the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.
From that moment onward, every detail was enchanting, turning each instance into a vital component of their unforgettable matrimony.

BRIDE AND GROOM
Like the beauty queen that she is, Samantha drew all eyes on her with a sophisticated ensemble matched with soft-glam makeup.
Samantha shimmered with elegance in her bridal attire—a figure-hugging wedding gown adorned with intricate beadwork, featuring a stylish halter neckline and a dramatic oversized bow at the back.

Her makeup was expertly applied by Jr Constantino, while Nelbert Seboy created an enchanting hairstyle that polished off her radiant look.

Adding to her bridal charm was a carefully arranged bouquet of Ecuadorian roses, palenopsis, and gypsophila, meticulously put together by the skilled florist Tei Endencia.
Meanwhile, Scott—directing manager of investment migration consultancy Henley & Partners—looked ever dapper in an ecru-colored blazer suit and trousers, accentuated by a single Ecuadorian rose as his boutonniere.

WEDDING VENUE
Tei, who also does event styling for a living, told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about visual elements of the function.
The entourage walkway by the seaside was a sight to behold as the aisle and flower arches reflected the same flower composition of Samantha's bouquet: Ecuadorian roses, palenopsis, and gypsophila.

As for the reception decor, Tei opted to wrap Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort's Grand Ballroom with a more nature-inspired aesthetic.

Describing the theme, the event styling said: "A whimsical forest for the reception...
"We used lots of fresh leaves for the ceiling treatment, immaculate chandeliers.
"Guest tables composed of a variety of locally-imported flowers, like lisianthus, cabbage roses, holland tulips, and rananculus."

WEDDING VOW
Although a full coverage of the couple's exchange of wedding vows has not been publicized as of yet, a portion of Samantha's pledge of love included a cherished memory from their courtship.
"I saw you giving high-fives, playing with the kids, and laughing [in] your plain, blue-colored polo shirt, and I messaged you that I was there, so please turn around," she recounted.
"As if I was in a movie, the world stops, and you were slowly turning around, looking for me holding a bouquet of fresh red roses.
"I was blown away."
Samantha went on to disclose that she was able to convince Scott to regularly go to church with her.
"I asked you that day if we can visit church weekly so I can pray, and gladly you said yes to my request, even if it's your first time going to church."

RECEPTION
Heading into the reception of the star-studded event, a burst of energy filled the air, igniting excitement and anticipation for the newly-married twosome.
GAMES
As is a custom at wedding receptions, lighthearted games between Samantha and Scott spiced up the night.
For one, the "Who is more likely" game unmasked a few intimate details about their relationship.
Social media personality Brenda Mage asked the couple, "Sino ang mas magaling sa kama?"
"Ay, o, English. Don't dare me... Who is best... good... who is better in bed?"
Making graphic motions of humping, Brenda caused a huge laughter in the room.
Moreover, a basketball arcade was also present at the reception area.
Coincidentally, athletes and volleyball players Alyssa Valdez and Michele Gumabao were among those who enjoyed sinking a shot through the mini hoop.
