Claudia Barretto and Basti Lorenzo exchanged vows in an intimate wedding ceremony on April 8, 2025, at St. James The Great Parish in Ayala Alabang Village, Muntinlupa City.
The wedding ceremony was kept very simple.
This is the wedding invitation. It simply mentions Claudia and Basti, making no mention of their family names.

Claudia walked alone down the aisle. Midway through, her mom Marjorie joined her and led her to the altar area where the groom was waiting.
There were only three or four pairs of ninongs and ninangs, with Lucy Torres Gomez and Joy Ortega the more familiar to netizens.
The reception, held at the Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary, an events venue inside the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Estate, Santa Rosa, Laguna, was also kept simple.
As one guest put it, "It was a very low-key wedding. It was an easy wedding, yung di maraming rules."
Ninongs and ninangs could sit where they liked at the reception. Traditionally, guests are grouped in well-thought out clusters, with sponsors all together at one table and so on. Here, not so.
And the decor, enthuses another guest, was "tastefully done and elegant," with the finishing touches to the venue done by the groom's mom. Food laid out was from one of the restaurants the Lorenzos own.
There was no program to speak of. There was only the throwing of the bouquet and a few speeches.
One from Martin, the father of the groom, who gave a very warm welcome to Claudia, whom he said the Lorenzo family has known for "15 years."
Another from Marjorie, the mother of the bride. Plus one from the brother of the bride and the sister of the groom who spoke to thank the guests for coming.
The guest list included mostly close family and friends of the couple.

CELEBRITY GUESTS SPOTTED AT the Claudia Barretto-Basti Lorenzo wedding
In attendance were Claudia’s mother, Marjorie Barretto, and her siblings—Dani, Julia, Leon, and Erich.

Dennis Padilla, Claudia's father, was present, and is seen here photographed with the newlyweds. He stayed only for the church ceremony.

After the wedding, he would reveal how he had felt slighted.
In a post, he ranted that he was invited as a "visitor" and not as the "father of the bride."
The post is now deleted. When his brother Gene wrote to defend him, he said that his brother, very hurt, cried buckets over what he believed was the casual treatment he got.

Dennis's mom Catalina and brother Gene were at the church, choosing to sit towards the back pews. They, with Dennis, did not proceed to the reception.

Xavi Panlilio, Dani’s husband, was spotted in one of the viral videos from the event.

Some netizens wondered, "Bakit wala si Ge?" referring to Julia's boyfriend, Gerald Anderson, whose absence was noticeable because he is almost always at Barretto family gatherings.
Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres arrived with their unica hija, Juliana, one of Claudia’s best friends and one of the bridesmaids.

Hannah Pangilinan, in a stunning black dress by Andrea Tetangco, shared a snap with her sister Ella and the newlyweds.

Meanwhile, fans were hoping for a glimpse of Erich Gonzales, who has kept a low profile since marrying Basti’s older brother, Mateo, in March 2022.
