Nation’s Girl Group members Jhoanna and Gwen have graduated from senior high school.
The milestone took place on May 7, 2025, when Jhoanna Christine Burgos Robles and Gweneth Llaguno Apuli—popularly known as BINI's Jhoanna and Gwen respectively—received their diplomas.
They finished their secondary education at the Japanese-Philippines Institute of Technologies, Training and Services Inc., where fellow BINI members Colet and Maloi also graduated from the year before.
Both couldn’t contain their joy, calling it a long-awaited dream come true not just for themselves, but also for their parents.

JHOANNA AND GWEN LOOK FORWARD TO COLLEGE
Speaking to MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News after their graduation ceremonies, the BINI members spoke about the fulfillment of finishing high school while juggling a demanding career, their upcoming global tour, and the next itinerary in their academic journey.
"We're very, very happy po, and proud of ourselves na rin po kasi iba po talaga yung pagod and sacrifice po. And thank you, Lord, kasi natapos na po namin yung grade 12," says Gwenn.
"Excited na po kami, siyempre, for our college," Jhoanna begins, before tempering the excitement.
Explaining, "Pero, seeing our schedule, parang medyo malabo pa po yung college kasi ayaw naman po naming mag-aral na for the sake lang na mag-aral kami.
"Gusto namin na may natututunan talaga."
Asked why it was important for them to pursue their education, Jhoanna answers: "Well, siyempre, important po siya sa amin kasing itong meron kami ngayon, hindi naman 'to forever.
"So, mahalaga na may Plan B kami. Alam mo yung, may pupuntahan kami kung ano mang mangyari sa career namin.
"And, fulfilling din siya for our parents po, kasi ito naman yung goal nila. Masaya sila na naging artists kami, naabot namin yung pangarap namin. Pero, greatest dream talaga nila for us is makapagtapos kami ng pag-aaral."
Both pop artists have already set their sights on specific college courses: Jhoanna hopes to pursue Mass Communication, while Gwen is drawn to Interior Design.

GRADUATION AS A SEND-OFF
With their high-school journey wrapped up, Jhoanna and Gwen view the timing as a symbolic send-off for BINI’s highly anticipated world tour.
Gwen admits nerves are kicking in, but she’s keeping her cool, saying, "Medyo marami po kaming ginawa these past days and weeks.
"So ayun, hopefully, makapag-focus na rin po sa rehearsals for world tour."
As they gear up to go global, the duo tease exciting content for their fans—collectively known as Blooms—revealing that their vlog series BINIverse is coming soon.
"Plano po namin mag-release po nung vlogs while we're on tour para may papanuorin rin po sila," Gwen spills.
"Tsaka, matagal na rin po kasing nire-request ng Blooms yung mga ganung content po from us."
Jhoanna adds: "Tsaka mag a-anniversary na rin kasi yung Blooms and BINI, so, parang magandang way yun to celebrate since wala nga po kami dito—June 11."
The upcoming vlog series promises never-before-seen games and off-stage fun that will show a different side of the group.

STILL RIDING THE AURORA HIGH
Their graduation comes fresh off the success of the AURORA Music Festival on May 3-4, 2025, held in Clark Global City in Pampanga, where BINI performed to a massive crowd—far beyond what even they anticipated.
"Sobrang daming tao po. Nagulat kami na akala namin yung 80K, 90K [attendees] sa two days na yon. Yun pala, one day lang. So, parang, posible pala yon dito sa Pinas, di ba?" Jhoanna exclaims.
"Parang mas malaki pa po siya sa Philippine Arena. Sobrang nagulat po talaga kami. Lalo na sa mga photos, parang edited talaga!"
Asked how they handle glitches and technical hiccups during segments, Gwen says it all comes with the territory.
"Mga ganyan po kasing mga pangyayari, unexpected din po talaga," she explains.
"Yung mga ganyang bagay, parang tinutulungan din po kami ng management, ng team, on how to handle it po talaga."
