Her transformation, miracle walk, abs, and answers during the preliminary round's interview all became trending topics on social media.
Even her choice of outfit for the evening gown—an immaculate white gown by Laguna-based fashion designer Louis Pangilinan—suited her to a tee.
On Instagram, Louis revealed the inspiration behind his creation: the late Filipina-German actress Sigrid Sophia Agatha de Torres von Giese, better known by her screen name Paraluman.
The designer put out photos that were taken by Onecho Angelo Gabinete before the pageant started.
Louis' full caption read: "PARALUMAN — a muse that inspires
"Truly, a pretty face with pure heart can inspire. Just like Kisses, this Louis Pangilinan Fashion Empire structured ivory white gown inspirits elegance, simplicity, and compassion.
"Ornamentated by its fanciful arrangement of fabric that embellishes one big lesson: be fearless.
"The overall aesthetic was purposely made as light, soft, and calm, but in a sophisticated way to really highlight Kisses’ personality — a muse that inspires artistically."
The designer said it was Kisses's way of thanking her loyal supporters—the Masbateños and Team Kisses.
Kisses makes it to the top 10 of Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
