Mon Dayrit, the husband of Maritoni Fernandez-Dayrit, has recently undergone a successful elective surgery.

On March 1, 2023, Maritoni uploaded an Instagram post that expressed her satisfaction with the medical professionals responsible for Mon's surgery.
"A long overdue elective surgery for my hubby @mondayrit to have a uranoplasty done, having been born with a cleft palate," she wrote.
Uranoplasty is a surgical operation that corrects a defect of the palate or roof of the mouth.
The mompreneur thanked their friend, Dr. Joseph Ray Richard "King" Cedeño, the head of the Department of ENT-Head & Neck Surgery at Makati Medical Center, whom she said she trusts "implicitly."
She added, "Supported by @jdforonda_2004 team to monitor my hubby’s heart. Dear friends are truly Gods gifts.
"So deeply grateful being surrounded by such brilliance and love from only the best doctors. [emojis]," she expressed.

In another Instagram post uploaded today, March 2, 2023, Maritoni gave an update on the ongoing recovery of her husband.
Her caption read (published as is), "Discharged and good as new. Grateful for all these amazing, super hard working people in MMC.
"We are truly blessed with such dedicated and hard working RN’s, residents, technicians, doctors in this country.
"You guys are truly our heroes. Hubby @mondayrit and I are beyond grateful. Thank you thank you thank you."

She married Mon in a civil wedding held on July 7, 2020, at the Parañaque City Hall.
Mon serves as the current Chief Administrative Officer of a local investment company.
Their blended family has six kids in total.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), she said, "...two are my own, two are my husband’s...and two belonged to my sister who passed away."
