Maggie Wilson has a simple yet effective way to deal with haters.
"Change the way you interpret their words," she writes on her latest Instagram post.
The model-host held a mini Instagram Stories Q&A session with followers yesterday, May 15.
One follower asked her a question that she gets asked a lot: "How do you deal with bashers / haters?"
Maggie shared her response on both her Instagram Stories and Instagram feed.
In her answer, the former Binibining Pilipinas World titleholder shared some of that names that she had been called.
There's "Gold Digger," which refers to a person who only dates someone for their money.
She's also been called a "clapper," because Maggie used to be a beauty queen but failed to take home the title. Hence, she was only one of the pageant's clappers.
The word "clapper" is also a slang word for an exotic dancer who shakes their bottom so much that its cheeks "clap."
On top of these names, Maggie said that she has been called a "bitch" and a "trophy wife" too.

Maggie wrote, "Here's how I interpret a few of my favourites!
"Gold Digger: Yes, I do enjoy digging my OWN gold. I make sure to dig extra deep!
"Clapper: Indeed I am! If you're happy and you know it clap... I clap, smile, hop and skip my way through my fabulous life!
"Bitch: is a female dog and we all know how much we love dogs!
"Trophy Wife: Why, thank you! To win a trophy, you've got to be the best!"
Maggie then added, "You see, it's all about perspective!
"I didn't always see it that way but I figured having onion skin will get you no where.
"If you can't change what they think of you. Change the way you interpret their words."
COMMON MISCONCEPTION ABOUT MAGGIE?
Another follower threw this question to Maggie on Instagram Stories: "One common misconception about you?"
Maggie answered, "Maybe that I'm 'bitchy' lol!"
The celebrity mom thinks that "people can't handle my level of honesty."
She remarked, "I'm tough! Most especially on people I love.
"I don't sugarcoat things because I have NO time to hold your hand. I don't believe in going in soft because it's a waste of time and more of [often] than not, people are so dense.
"The faster you learn to take critic the faster you can be successful.
"I expect the people that matter to me treat me the same way."
