Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have found a new hobby when the COVID-19 pandemic happened—video production.
It is especially useful to Kathryn, who vlogs actively.
She said during an interview by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Ang laking tulong rin na through the vlog... mas nagkaroon kami ng time na bigyan yun ng oras."
Daniel meanwhile has been helping Kathryn create contents for her vlogs on her YouTube channel.
However, he himself does not do vlog, preferring to work behind the scene.
He said in the same Zoom interview by PEP.ph on August 17, 2021, "Andun naman ako, sa lahat ng shoot vlog niya, e. E, kami rin naman nagshu-shoot nun.
"Talagang wala lang, vlogging is not my thing. It's not me at ayokong pilitin, di ba?
"Okay na ako dun sa pagbuo ng content ni Kathryn at siya yung shinu-shoot ko. Masaya na ako sa ganun."
Kathryn has let Daniel be and has not tried to convince him to have his own YouTube channel.
The Pepsi #HitSaSarap ambassador reasoned, "Kasi parang vlogging, naniniwala kami na it's very personal.
"Kapag hindi ka komportable, pinilit mo lang siya, lalabas yun, e.
"And for Deej [Daniel's nickname], hindi niya yun personality, e. And there's nothing wrong with that. Hindi lahat comfortable with it.
"So tinutulungan niya ako especially sa ibang segments talaga. 'Tapos, yun lang. So open naman sa idea pero hindi lang siguro too soon for DJ."
KathNiel fans can still expect Daniel to appear on Kathryn's vlogs from time to time.
Previously, Daniel was featured on Kathryn's vlog about her mom Min Bernardo's surprise for her 25th birthday.
She and Daniel also did a question and answer video where they talked about getting married and their future plans.
