Joshua Garcia is grateful to have found real friends in the "Nguya Squad."
United by their love for food, the group is composed of Joshua, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Sofia Andres, Daniel Miranda, Patrick Sugui, Aeriel Garcia, and Ria Atayde.
On Sunday, September 5, 2021, Joshua dedicated an Instagram post to his friends and thanked them for saving him during his darkest days.
The 23-year-old Kapamilya actor uploaded throwback photos of their previous beach trip and wrote in the caption, "These beautiful people saved me from drowning in loneliness."
Joshua also noted the importance of having a strong support group.
He continued, "Surround yourselves with positive energies during these times, my friends, because there are days in our lives that we all need to swim on our own."
The actor ended his post saying, "I am missing the sun and the gang."
Sofia and Ria, both of whom were tagged in Joshua's post, left comments.
Sofia dropped fire and heart emojis in the comments section of his post.
Ria, on the other hand, said, "Same. I feel you. [Emoji] Def looking forward to more memories and moments with all of you! [heart emoji]"
Joshua's post was also filled with heart emojis from his followers.
Joshua has been spending more time with the Nguya Squad over the past few months. In July 2021, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate also joined the crew's first-ever camping trip.
Other members are Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Nina Ferrer, Ozzy Lavina, Marco Gumabao, Bianca Yanga, and Joe Vargas, but they haven't been able to spend more time with the group.
