Edgar Allan “EA” Guzman says the more-than-a-decade wait for Shaira Diaz was worth it.
The celebrity couple tied the knot at a parish church in Silang, Cavite, on August 14, 2025.
They had been in a relationship for 12 years before finally walking down the aisle.
They also made a vow of purity, choosing to abstain from premarital sex.
Fittingly, EA—who values time deeply—chose a watch as his wedding gift to Shaira.
And not just any watch: a rare Rolex.

In a press conference held on August 18, 2025, EA said: “Binigyan ko siya ng Rolex. Yun ang first Rolex niya."
How did he come up with such a gift idea?
“Kasi pagka every time nakikita ko siyang nagbibihis, ganyan, ‘tapos may watch siyang sinusuot, lagi kong pinapansin yung watch niya.
“So magandang wedding gift yung Rolex.
“Saka ako kasi, bina-value ko yung time kahit sino, kahit kanino… sobrang mahalaga sa akin yung time. Kaya yun yung naisip kong regalo sa kanya."
On the model of the watch, he revealed, “It’s a Datejust, it’s a classic one. Rare blue diamonds.”
EA then fumbled with his phone to show a picture of the Rolex watch he bought for his wife.
He continued: “Rare siya kaya ko siya binili for her.
“Dapat violet kasi nga favorite color niya violet, dahil sa BTS. E, nakita ko yung violet hindi maganda, blue na lang...”
Based on the research of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), the exact model of watch that EA bought for Shaira is a Rolex Datejust 41 Blue Diamond Dial.
Its price ranges from PHP831,600 to PHP1,087,711, based on online watch stores.
What was his wife’s reaction to his expensive gift?
“Actually, nakita ko lang sa video ng SDE [same-day edit] namin after the reception.
“So, happy naman siya and yun din naman yung gusto niya. Gusto niya ng Rolex, makabili, makapag-invest… Tinupad ko lang,” he explained.

HONEYMOON AND SHAIRA'S GIFT
The newlyweds plan to spend their honeymoon in Switzerland next month.
Part of their itinerary will be the filming locations from Shaira's favorite K-drama, Crash Landing on You (2020).
Come October, EA said they’ll fly to the U.S. to watch Chris Brown’s concert—Shaira’s gift to him.
