Having “too many cars” isn’t exactly a common problem—it’s a rarefied dilemma faced only by those perched at the very top of the wealth ladder.
Such is the case for Rowena “Sarah” Discaya and her husband Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya II, whose garage is packed with SUVs, vans, and rare imports — some of which they admit are no longer even used.
Sarah herself goes car by car, revealing the backstories, whims, and quirks that led her to purchase each one.
Sometimes it’s as simple as wanting a different color. Sometimes it’s because Sarah spotted a unit she fancied in a magazine.
Sometimes it’s because the vehicle had a built-in table—or in the case of a Rolls-Royce, built-in umbrella holders.

Cadillac Escalade
Sarah gestures at two hulking Escalades: "Mostly American cars siya, so, eto, yung Cadillac. Eto yung sports edition niya. 20 ano ata iyan, 20 something basta."
The Discayas brought home both the black and white editions of the full-size luxury vehicle.
According to Philkotse’s 2025 listings, brand-new Escalades range from PHP17.8 million to PHP19.8 million each, making the twin purchase alone a PHP36–40 million splurge.
Lincoln Navigator
"Yung black pala yung una nabili namin tapos yung white. Gusto ko may white din siya,” Sarah laughs, recalling how one Navigator became two.
Local import listings place the Navigator between PHP12 million and PHP16 million each, depending on trim and importer (Philkotse, ZigWheels PH).
That means the two cars easily total PHP24–32 million.
Bentley Bentayga
Novelty drove the addition of the Azure Blue Bentayga to the Discaya garage: “Pag may kakaiba, yun ang what attracts me to buy.
"Kaya nagustuhan ko ito, may champagne glass decanter siya sa loob. Pero hindi naman namin nagagamit.”
A Bentayga with this specification is valued at PHP15 million to PHP18 million in the local import market (Philkotse.com; ZigWheels PH, 2025).
Porsche Cayenne
When the couple wanted something a little sportier, their eyes landed on an Arctic Gray Porsche Cayenne.
“Sabi namin, gusto namin ng medyo sporty ano… pero hindi namin nagagamit,” Sarah admits, laughing at the irony of buying performance only to let it gather dust.

Chevrolet Suburban
The Chevrolet Suburban is one of the longest-running models in automotive history.
It was first introduced in 1935 and still regarded today as the quintessential American full-size SUV.
In black, it exudes the traditional VIP aesthetic.
According to Philippine listings, a gray-import Chevrolet Suburban typically ranges from PHP5 million to PHP8 million, depending on trim and importer.
Dodge RAM
Designed for hauling trailers across American highways and farmlands, the Dodge RAM in Billet Silver Metallic is a brute of a pickup.
Philkotse and ZigWheels PH estimate local import prices for the RAM between PHP3 million and PHP5 million.
Isuzu Alterra
“Eto yung one of the first cars na meron talaga kami,” Sarah says, pointing to their black Isuzu Alterra.
The Alterra, discontinued years ago, was Isuzu’s take on a mid-size SUV built on the D-Max platform.
In the Philippines, used Isuzu Alterra units are valued between PHP1 million and PHP2 million, depending on their condition.
Volvo XC90
The Volvo XC90 is Volvo’s flagship SUV, known for its understated Scandinavian luxury and top-tier safety features.
In Onyx Black, it fits neatly into the Discayas’ line-up of family-sized luxury cars, though Sarah admits her excitement faded quickly after the purchase.
“Eto yung gustung-gusto ko dati na una bilhin. Nung nabili na namin siya, hindi ko na ginagamit. Anak ko gumagamit nito,” she says.

Maserati Levante

The Discayas’s Lexus LM in Graphite Black Glass Flake color underscores their preference for higher-end versions of cars they already own: “Kakambal niya si Alphard—the higher end of Alphard.”

Ford Bronco Sport
The Ford Bronco Sport revives a classic American off-roader nameplate, offering a more compact alternative to the full-size Bronco.
“Yung unang bili namin ng white na Cadillac, dumating itong Ford Bronco. So this is one of the first editions,” says Sarah on the family's Shadow Black Bronco.
Local import listings show the Bronco Sport offered between PHP2 million and PHP3 million in the Philippines.
Massimo T-Boss 550 UTV
Farm toys also made the cut: “Etong dalawang moon buggy, dadalhin namin ito sa farm namin sa Batangas pag nagawa na.”
One is in Slate Grey finish, while the other is in Desert Storm.
Each Massimo T-Boss 550 UTV is priced between PHP700,000 and PHP1 million, depending on dealer (Philkotse.com; ZigWheels PH 2025).
Rolls-Royce Cullinan
“Ang Cullinan, SUV siya ng Rolls-Royce, pero, ang kaya lang nito iupo sa likod, tatlo. For comfort siya, e. Luxury lang talaga. Nung dumating siya, naka-interior siya ng Hermès orange,” Sarah says.
Pressed on why she bought it, here's her justification: “Kasi ito, o, may payong, o. Natutuwa ako sa payong. Pero hindi ko pinagagamit itong payong na ito kasi mahal yung payong on both sides.
“So, iyan yung feature ng Rolls na kaya ko siya nabili kasi natuwa ako sa payong.”
Globally priced at USD325,000 (around PHP19 million), the Cullinan in the Discayas’s fleet is remembered less for its engineering and more for the small details that caught Sarah’s eye.
Philippine gray-import and official dealer pricing places the Cullinan’s price tag from PHP30 million to as high as PHP59 million.

Jaguar F-PACE
One of the first luxury vehicles the Discayas acquired was a Jaguar F-PACE in Santorini Black.
The F-PACE is Jaguar’s entry into the SUV market, blending the sleek styling of the British marque with everyday practicality.

BMW X5

GMC Denali

The Denali nameplate is GMC’s top-of-the-line trim, often described as the American equivalent of an Escalade in terms of stature and presence, but with a slightly more rugged DNA.

The GMC Savana is a full-size American van.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Sarah is visibly proud of this one: “Sinearch ko ito, walang ganito sa Manila. May isa yatang kumuha pero nag-iisa lang itong kulay na ito. Pina-ship ko from the US. Ang ganda ng body niya. Ang kulay gusto ko rin, red.”
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is Jeep’s flagship SUV and represents the brand’s push into ultra-luxury territory.
The Discayas’s unit is finished in Velvet Red Pearlcoat, rarely seen in the country.

On the Sarge Green unit she owns, Sarah says: “This is my son’s car, birthday gift namin sa kanya ito. Pinalagyan niya ng kung anu-anong accessories e.”

Mercedes-Benz GLS

Utility explains the couple's choice for their Selenite Grey Metallic Avantgarde purchase.
“Maganda siya kasi may table sa loob so pag hinatid ang mga bata or sundo,” Sarah relates.
“Lalo na yung panganay ko na nasa Mapua, iyan ang ginagamit niya kasi puwede magsulat or gawa ng homework habang nasa loob.”

Sarah beams as she describes their Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro in the Solar Octane variant as “more sports.”

At one point, Curlee interjects about fuel use: “Di na namin maramdaman kasi paiba-iba nga ng sasakyan, kaya di namin alam kung gaano kalakas kumonsumo.”
For Sarah, the cars contribute to their company's branding, as much as it is about indulgence.
“Sa business side, siyempre, your clients come here and nakita nila, they know that we have the capacity to execute a project.
“Parang ito [garage], part of our resume. Kumbaga pag nag-a-apply ng trabaho, kaya mo. May abilidad ka na gumawa ng ano, kasi may mga ganito kang sasakyan.”
The Discayas’s garage tour has resurfaced at a time when their name is once again under public scrutiny.
Their ties to DPWH contracts and the sudden rise of the couple's fortune have drawn renewed attention after Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto publicly commented on contractor dealings in mid-September 2024.
Critics have specifically pointed to the family’s involvement in flood control projects—a sector where billions of pesos have been allocated over the years, yet residents across Metro Manila and neighboring provinces still struggle with submerged roads after heavy rains.
