Actor and entrepreneur Paul Jake Castillo drew laughs and admiration from netizens after sharing a playful moment with his wife, actress Kaye Abad, in a video posted on Facebook.
In the clip uploaded on March 11, 2026, Paul Jake can be seen giving Kaye a piggyback ride so she wouldn’t have to step on a wet portion of the pavement.

The video begins with the couple noticing a shallow stream of rainwater cutting across the walkway.
“O, unsaon man na nimo?” Paul Jake asks.
(“So, how are you going to cross that?”)
“Lawm kaayo. Unsaon nalang?” Kaye replies, noting how deep the water looked.
(“It’s too deep. What am I supposed to do?”)
Without much hesitation, Paul Jake offers a solution.
“Kapyot, kapyot, kapyot, kapyot. Dali, dali, kapyot. Agay, y*wa!” he says as Kaye jumps onto his back, both of them laughing.
(“Hold on, hold on, hold on! Hurry, hold on! Oh my gosh!”)

At one point, the former Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up housemate jokingly complains while continuing to carry his wife.
“Kaduha na ni para sa tsinelas. Paita sa bagyo,” he says.
(“This is the second time I’ve had to do this because of the slippers. This storm is such a hassle.”)
Paul Jake captioned the post with a humorous remark about choosing hardship rather than letting Kaye’s footwear get wet, placing the hashtag "#husbandduties" by the end of it.
“Bahala na ma hirapan sa kalisod. Basta ang slippers hindi mabasa.”
(“It’s okay if I struggle, as long as the slippers don’t get wet.”)

Even though the couple confirmed they are back in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu as of writing, the reel was uploaded hours before the couple shared photos from their trip to Singapore.
This led some followers to speculate that the moment may have happened during their travels, especially as the city-state has recently been experiencing scattered thunderstorms.

Netizens moved and amused by Paul Jake
The candid exchange made the rounds online, with many viewers praising Paul Jake’s sweet gesture.
Several netizens commented that Kaye was lucky to have a husband willing to carry her just to keep her feet dry.
Beyond the romantic gesture, viewers were especially amused by Paul Jake’s spontaneous Cebuano commentary during the moment.
In particular, the line “Agay, y*wa!” drew a flood of reactions in the comments section.
Some netizens jokingly wrote, “Nadala sa yawa,” while others said, “Aysa, sa yawa ko nakatawa,” referring to how the exclamation made them laugh.
Another detail that caught viewers’ attention was Kaye’s footwear.

HOW MUCH IS KAYE'S DESIGNER SANDALS?
In a quick shot in the video, the actress appears to be wearing Hermès Chypre sandals, one of the luxury brand’s iconic slip-on styles.
The designer sandals are popular among celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, retailing for USD 1,125 or around PHP 67,000, according to the French fashion house’s website.
This sparked a wave of playful reactions online, with some joking that Paul Jake was simply protecting the expensive footwear.
“Bawal mabasa ang Hermes,” one commenter quipped.
Paul Jake, meanwhile, kept things casual in Yeezy Slides in the Ochre colorway, which retail locally for around PHP 13,899—pricey in their own right, but noticeably more modest compared to Kaye’s designer sandals.
