Dog lovers populated the Pinoy Big Brother house for the Collab 2.0 season.
The recently-ended edition of the popular Filipino reality show was filled with housemates who can gush about how they spoil their furry best friends.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) talked to several ex-Kapuso housemates last Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the their mediacon held in Quezon City.
Their faces lit up when they were asked about their dogs.
PRINCESS ALIYAH AND HER EIGHT DOGS
Princess and her family are proud caretakers of eight dogs: four poodles, two pomeranians, and two shih tzus.
“Mahilig po talaga kami sa aso. And ayun po, ako din po nag-aalaga sa kanila,” shared the young actress.
Princess got her pomeranian when she was 13 years old.
“Hanggang ngayon buhay pa rin siya,” said the 17-year-old singer-actress.

Then the number of her dogs gradually grew because she really loves dogs.
Aside from giving them love and affection, Princess also makes sure to spoil them by giving them treats.
“Meron pa nga silang shoes, may damit, may pagkain, dog treats, as in lahat. Tapos nasa bahay lang sila,” said the Kapuso Big Four finalist.

ASHLEY SARMIENTO AND OAKLEY
Ashley’s family also has a lot of dogs, but one of them is her personal baby.
“I have my baby Oakley, he’s a dachshund. Oakley yung pangalan niya kasi kulay oak siya, tapos may -ley na lang para parang mas pang-aso,” the young actress shared with a smile.

The Kapuso Big Four finalist first met Oakley in 2023.
The brown dog was her sister’s Christmas gift.
And ever since then, Oakley has become her favorite companion. She loves feeding the dog treats, but has given up on giving it clothes and toys.
“Hindi po siya mahilig sa damit, so hindi ko siya sinusuutan ng damit. Naiinis siya kapag nagsusuot siya ng damit.
"Sa toys naman, tina-try ko rin siya i-spoil, pero nasisira niya lagi, e, so huwag na lang, mag-treats ka na lang,” she explained.
Ashley shared, however, that she has not been able to play with Oakley for some time now.
“Ngayon po, hindi masyado kasi nga po very busy during PBB and after PBB, hindi pa po kami nakapag-one-on-one,” said the MAKA star.

JOHN CLIFFORD's dogs BRANDY, JIM, AND WHISKEY
Like Ashley, John Clifford also misses his dogs.
The Kapuso young actor has three: a golden retriever named Brandy, an american bulldog named Jim, and a pomeranian named Whiskey.
The three pooches, sourced from pet shops, live in Cebu, where Clifford hails from.
“So I don’t really get to see them,” shared the ex-housemate.
But he’s looking forward to go home to the Queen City of the South this Holy Week to bond with them again.
“I'll give them their treats, I'll give them cuddles,” was his answer, when asked what he will do when he sees them.
Aside from playing with Brandy, Jim and Whiskey, Clifford also wants to see his Cebu-based family. He also wishes to have a fun vacation.
“I'm looking forward na gawin yung mga bagay na gusto ko doon sa Cebu, like, siyempre gumala, kumain ng mga paboritong pagkain, swimming. Hopefully, magagawa ko ngayong Holy Week,” he said.
LEE VICTOR AND HIS MALTIPOO
Lee Victor also anticipates spending time with Barbie, his maltipoo, this Holy Week. The actor-singer wants to stay at home to work on new music.
“Definitely I'm going to spend it with my family and friends kasi minsan-minsan lang yung you get a chance to have a vacation, have some quality time, alone time,” shared the ex-housemate.
“Siguro release a song over the Holy Week, maybe? Siguro, yeah, I'm just gonna focus on music talaga. I'm gonna write more songs in my free time.”

And while polishing his musical skills, Lee wants to bond with Barbie, who is turning 10 this July.
“I love that dog super. Kaya noong pagbalik ko from the outside world, grabe yung napaka-warm na welcome noong kakadating ko sa bahay 'tapos nakita ko yung dog ko for the very first time,” Lee shared further.
The Sparkle artist remembered how he picked Barbie out of a small litter when he was a tiny pup.
“Like meron akong pinagpilian, tatlong puppies yun, e. 'Tapos pinili ko yung pinaka-unique yung color noong fur niya.”
On Instagram last year, Lee shared a series of personal photos showing him growing up with Barbie.
His caption: “9 years ago, I asked Mama for a baby sister… Instead, she gave me you.” Lee continued to reminisce, talking about Barbie’s favorite food.
“Binibigyan ko siya ng mamon. Pero hindi naman like too much, pero dati back then, mamon siya nang mamon.
"Kasi every time, that's her favorite. Maririnig lang niya na nagbubukas na ako, automatic nang lalapit. Tapos maggaganoon na, ready-ready na, tapos may puppy eyes,” he shared happily.
