Ina Raymundo has opted not to make any statements or disclose any additional information regarding the breakup of her daughter Erika Poturnak and Kobe Paras.
During her interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on March 19, 2023, Ina acknowledged that her daughter should be the one to ultimately confirm the status of her own relationship.
"You know what, actually, kasi natanong lang ako. But they never really admitted anything, so dapat wala din i-admit kung nag-break, di ba?" the 47-year-old celebrity mom told PEP.ph after her appearance on the runway during the third day of Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023.
She continued, "So, but all I can say is that, you know, long-distance... I don't want to talk about [it] na, baka mapagalitan ako ni Erika."
Ina, however, stands by her belief that long-distance relationships don't work in young couples.
She explained, "When you're young, like you're 21 and you're in your early 20s, you should really live in the moment.
"I mean, you should, you know, enjoy where you are [and] meet people. So parang, for me, that's the best way to live your life if you're 21, right?"

INA RAYMUNDO'S RELATIONSHIP ADVICE
In addition, Ina urged the young people to prioritize experiencing all that life has to offer and not invest too much in their romantic relationships.
It's also a message that she consistently shares with all five of her children: Erika, Jakob, Mikaela, Anika, and Minka.
She explained, "Because talaga, you really have so much to learn, and it's exciting to meet different kinds of people.
"And it's the best time to be single, when you're 21 right?"
Ina added, "Si Erika has a, she's very independent, alam mo yun, hindi siya yung clingy type of person na hindi mabubuhay ng walang ka-relationship.
"She's not that type of girl. So mas happy siya na surrounded by friends.
"So, in a way siguro, nagmana siya sa akin, yung hindi talaga into relationships muna because you're younger.
"I mean, if you have a boyfriend right now, he's not going to be your husband in the future.
"So I don't know like, I think I would always instill that sa mga anak kong babae, because I have four [daughters], na don’t take relationships seriously ‘cause you’re young. You should enjoy your life and be around friends and family."
RAISING STRONG AND INDEPENDENT DAUGHTERS
Ina feels a sense of pride knowing that she has strong and empowered daughters.
Additionally, she is grateful that her son also treats women well.
She said, "They know their rights, they know their strengths. And I'm so, I feel so blessed that I have four daughters.
"Because you know years from now they're gonna be even more powerful and badasses, alam mo yun?
"I'm so excited that, 'Lord, thank You. Thank You for blessing me with four daughters.'
"And sa anak kong lalaki, talagang sinasabi namin ni Erica, treat your girlfriend right, you know. So kailangan talaga he treats his, whoever she is right."
