Couple Kris Bernal and Perry Choi announced the gender of their baby in the most unconventional way.
Their baby's gender-reveal party exclusively for their loved ones was held last Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the rooftop of an events venue in Pasay City.
The occasion was also streamed live on Kris' YouTube channel.
Breathless with excitement, the Kapuso actress kicked off the live stream greeting her audience without telling much about what to expect.
She said, "Wala talaga akong idea at all. Wala kaming alam ni Perry.
"Ang may alam lang talaga were our events coordinator, who is Kim Torres Events. So sila lang ang may alam.
"Ako, ang hula ko, boy. Kasi sabi nila, pagpatusok daw, boy. Si Perry naman, ang hula niya, girl kasi maarte pa rin daw ako. So anyway, bahala na."

While waiting for the gender-reveal announcement, the couple's friends and family engaged in enjoyable games and activities, such as the tissue diaper-making and water break balloon game.
At one point in the program, Perry's family members eagerly took part in a game in which they raced to finish a bowl of yogurt while blindfolded.
The highlight of the event was the dino battle, which would reveal the gender of the baby.
Two dinosaur mascots, one in blue and the other in pink, engaged in a playful battle, with the pink one emerging victorious and announcing the gender of the baby.
Kris, clearly surprised, expressed, "Akala ko boy talaga kasi lahat ng symptoms ko, boy. Tapos yung tiyan ko patusok, akala ko boy.
"Oh my gosh, girl! May babae na din sa family."
She later added, "Answered prayer talaga. Gusto ko ng girl, kasi gusto ko bihisan.
"Pero gusto ko rin ng boy, para may kalaro din yung mga pamangkin ko na boys, puro boys."
"Pero dahil puro boys, ayan meron nang girl.
Toward the end of the livestream, Kris thanked her guests, "Maraming maraming salamat po sa pagpunta, thank you for the support."
In March 2023, Kris and Perry announced their pregnancy. They got engaged in 2020 and married in September 2021.
