Luis Manzano, riled up by a comment censuring his wife Jessy Mendiola, has resorted to humor to silence the lone detractor.
It started harmlessly enough with Jessy posting on July 7, 2024, a wholesome series of videos showing a typical family outing of Jessy and Luis with their two-year-old daughter, Peanut.
Jessy's post was simply a heartfelt dedication,"My [red heart emoji]," to her family of three.
She captioned the post (published as is): "Truly grateful for the gift of family. Thank you, Lord.
"Sobrang saya ng puso ko. [Face holding back tears emoji] I love you both so much @luckymanzano and @isabellarosemanzano [emojis]"

However, Jessie's happy post unexpectedly caused a situation where Luis had to intervene.
Amid the flood of positive responses, one commenter critiqued Jessy's method of carrying baby Peanut.
The comment suggested concern over the positioning of Peanut's legs while being carried by Jessy, admonishing: "Jess, don't carry her like that. She's going to have a bowleg. [thinking face emoji]"
In photo, the position in question shows Jessy carrying Peanut in one arm, with the baby's legs spread out and wrapped around her mom's waist.

According to WebMD, bowleggedness is a condition where the knees appear to curve outward even when standing with feet and ankles together, leaving a wide space in the middle.
As Luis indirectly pointed out, it is caused by various factors and not by how a child is carried.

Unwilling to let the unwarranted advice slide, Luis swiftly responded with a touch of humor and firmness, saying, "pag ganyan, itulog niyo nalang po."
This witty clapback conveyed his stance against unsolicited parenting advice, especially on a post intended to celebrate their family's joyous moments.
Replies under the comment were quick to agree to with Luis, even citing bowleggedness to be primarily genetic.

Luis and Jessy tied the knot in a civil ceremony in 2021, and held their highly-anticipated church wedding on February 15, 2024.
They welcomed their bundle of joy, Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano, also fondly called baby Peanut, on December 28, 2022.
