Jessy Mendiola sets the record straight regarding comments claiming her newly-purchased Chanel bag is fake.
April 2024 marked memorable moments for Jessy, who caught the first bloom of Sakura in Shioiri Park in Japan with her family and purchased a pre-loved Chanel bag from one of the luxury brand's trusted retailers in Japan.

Jessy's unboxing video
Finally arriving at her door on April 30, 2024, Jessy fondly took to her social media accounts to make an unboxing video.
The 31-year-old celebrity mom took out the vintage handbag straight out of Chanel's signature black box, packaged neatly inside a carrier shopping bag with a white camellia flower at the top center portion.
Accompanying the post was The Letherette's electro-funk song "Woop Baby" for that extra retro feel.
Tagging Japan Luxe Direct, her caption read: "Thank you for sourcing this gorgeous classic vintage piece. [black heart emoji]"
Upon closer inspection, her new high-end piece is a Chanel quilted mini square flap bag in black caviar.
Since it's sourced from various resellers, the price for this model may vary, usually falling between PHP250,000 and PHP350,000.

"Fake" Chanel comment
Jessy's post may have earned the recognition it deserves, yet one comment caught her attention.
An Instagram user reacted, "Looks fake to me. Bought from HK?"
In response, Jessy wrote (published as is): "it was authenticated by a sales associate who checked the item's serial code in Chanel's system. [black heart emoji]
"No need to hate and spread negativity. [smiling emoji]," she urged.
Meanwhile, Ann Beltran-Shimomura, owner of Japan Luxe Direct in Ginza, Tokyo, jumped in the conversation in support of Jessy.
Ann told the commenter, "Dear, I'm from Japan. Every shop here has their own in-house professional authenticators.
"We don't sell fake items here 'cos bawal. They would close down your shop if caught."
